I agree with the latter, a bad personality can make someone unattractive as a whole, but the opposite rarely is true, unfortunately.

I wouldn't think any less or more of Marisa if I knew she had plastic surgery. I just thought I saw a difference in the way her nose looked in older pictures and wondered if she might have gotten a nose job.
