Can the "pulling down the bottom" pose really be considered tacky within the context of swimsuit shots, when it has been used so many times before?

Yup. I also think her facial expression is a bit weird.

The irony is that it was one of the calmer/less incident-filled Standard-Anderlechts, outside of the crazy banner.

I don't mind Hannah D getting the cover, but that shot is ridiculously photoshopped!

Agreed. She is not the type I tend to like, but the shots I've seen of her so far are not bad. I would say that I probably look most forward to Jessica. A Chrissie cover would be MJ giving us all the middle finger.

There has been at least 3 Belgian models in SI before - Ingrid Seynhaeve, Tanga Moreau, and Jessica van der Steen. Not sure if there are others that have escaped by brain at the moment. That would make her number four. I was only aware of Seynhaeve and Van Der Steen, not Moreau.

I agree, Noemie had one of the best bodies ever in her prime. People are only seeing a similarity because of the skin color and hair?

The problem is not her body or body type, but that particular pose just does not flatter her shape. Don't understand why they fail to choose shots that bring out the best qualities of each individual model.

Besides being a sex symbol and Hollywood icon, Monroe shagged Joe DiMaggio, Arthur Miller and the fucking POTUS! At the least. The word is that she was shared around and at the end it got her killed. Poor woman. Really tragic life and she's constantly being mentioned as some kind of idol. I would never wish her life on anyone. I think a lot of bullshit was written and told about her. I'm sure she lived an ultimately unhappy life, but probably only 5% of the stories about her are true.
