Did you know that when you're anorexic or have a severe eating disorder the first thing to go is muscle mass.. not fat. Last I checked Karlie has quite defined legs, one of the few high fashion models to actually have muscle definition. Just because you're featured on a pro ana site doesn't mean you are anorexic or even supporting the movement. So congratulations on your job, or whomever you work with, but if they have actually taken the time to say oh that model is sick.. then they should probably re-evulate their jobs. It's not their place to say just based on a few pictures that someone is unhealthy, so either you're lying out your ass, or they need to go back to school. Anyways, I'm walking away from the base levels of stupidity here.. if you all want to believe that Karlie is promoting anorexia or bulimia, or hell the cocaine diet feel free, that just says something about yourself not her.

Highlighting someone as a potential new girl isn't nearly the same thing as giving them a contract. I didn't realize it was that hard to understand, maybe it's a cultural thing. The fact remains that VS has very candidly said that they don't keep girls around that aren't selling. Just because you give someone a little extra push doesn't mean that their catalog images don't sell afterwards, or that they sell more. It's kinda like playing cards, if you have a decent hand you push a little to try and get a great hand. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. At this point in time it looks like they're betting on a good hand, that's if Karlie is in fact a new Angel, and not just another spokesmodel. Regardless the irrational negativity is a little childish - especially considering it's all just reiterations of past points.

Something we all need to keep in mind. Victoria's Secret is still a company, and it doesn't matter how much Monica or Ed likes a model, if they aren't selling to the general public they will not keep someone around if someone else sells more. Because the bottom line is the all mighty dollar. So you may all assume that Karlie isn't selling but obviously she's doing something right. And her body is not a whole lot different from Lindsay Ellingson, Erin Heatherton, Alessandra Ambrosio or Miranda Kerr. All women who either didn't have tits and ass before they had babies or before they paid for them. Candice only has more of a quote on quote figure because she has hips and arches her back to unhealthy degrees, so lets stop on the Karlie hate and just move on. God I don't even like the woman but I feel bad because the hatred directed towards her is beyond unreasonable. If I didn't know any better I'd think it was jealousy. Not because of her looks but because she got the quote on quote contract and all ya'lls quote on quote favorite didn't.

Well Jesus Christ, no one ever announces that they are a Victoria's Secret Angel, because the term is thrown out there so much it means nothing. There is absolutely no connecting dots between her and a Transformers movie or hell her and Michael Bay beyond a Christmas commercial, and I highly doubt he's going to pounce on a new girl VS is looking at after he completely demolished Rosie's career. Doesn't seem like good business.. And whoever's brilliant idea it was to throw out that maybe she's going to announce that she got a cover like Sports Illustrated is beyond retarded. Seriously? Post pretty pictures or gtfo!

SI features pictures of girls all the time that haven't worked for them. It's their lovely lady of the day, or week or month. They take these pictures from numerous different sources, but at this point Shanina hasn't worked directly with them, at least to the point that she was credited in the magazine.

Oh and to use her age as an excuse is bullshit. The girl is what 18 or 19? Based on the listing for almost every country in the world she's considered an adult, she's been exposed to more of life then most kids her age, probably pays her own bills, has her own place. I will give her this, she speaks English quite well, but the less then humble attitude, and the snootiness was completely uncalled for. So she's a little stuck up, whatever, but don't sit there and try to make excuses for the girl. She's proven on twitter that she likes the attention, so I highly doubt that her interviews are going to be a whole lot different. But the age excuse doesn't fly, numerous other models that were her age, ranging back years have come across as humble, or shy, or just very sweet. Some people just aren't like that, regardless of age.
