I must clarify that I said highest rated program in a country with over 300 million people, not 300 million viewers. The measured record is around 106 million Americans or something, but that's the lesser note. The main thing is, people are very forgiving of celebrities and have forgiven and forgotten much greater things than forgetting some words . She says she just got caught up in the moment and lost her place, but she didn't burn the flag of course. That said, her clothes are used to the worst dressed lists, so that's no new ground there and though I hope she doesn't get to obese obviously (for the sake of health), I honestly don't see the point of being rich and not enjoying food and pregnancy probably just made her finally realize that . The fact that it was a football game couldn't be more irrelevant. With those that were angry (and I'm not one of them), their patriotism, respect and love for the anthem transcends events. As to the level of fail, its considered an epic fail because it doesn't happen very often if at all, the oversinging, as well as the number of people watching. Cowboy's stadium is the biggest sports stadium in the world (and contains the biggest TV screen in the world) and the Super Bowl is the highest rated program of a country with over 300 million people (it costs over 1 million dollars just to buy a commercial spot). So for the angry people, the patriotism is the independent variable and as to the fail, the vastness of the audience is the independent variable. Doesn't matter whether it was football, baseball, politics or juggling. That said, I'm not mad at her at all, I just thought it was funny and figured since there are many World Cup fans here, was curious if its happened there. And the very oversinging that you refer to is ironically what makes it funny in the first place .

1. I'm male and you like about as much as me (including some I don't). 2. How can you blame this list on just us ? If its online, who's to say how many women voted ? 3. If it had been an all women vote, there would be roughtly the same bland, political jumple of celebs (just replacing a few such as Arianne Celeste with a chick flick actress maybe) and I doubt that you'd understand it any more . That is if you could even tell the difference (gender of voters). 4. Not to mention that a lot of these women are where they are now just as much if not more for their female fans/appeal. If females boycotted Gossip Girl or Glee, would they have lasted more than a season ? And thus they wouldn't have even been popular enough to make the list. And sure a lot of men like Katy's boobs, but who do you think is buying the albums ? If it were left up to men's (or the kind of men we're talking about at least) record sales/purchases, she'd probably would have been working at hooters or a glamour model or something. So whereas men may be the source of blame in some cases, women still had the power to stop most of this (since they empower so much of it with their views and money), so both should share the blame. Cheryl Cole's looks are marketed to men, but women buy her albums. If she didn't sell albums she wouldn't be up there. That's not to mention all the actresses who star in chick flicks (Kristen Stewart ect.) And then of course the models seem to have as many female fans as male (if not more). And most of them have a gender neutral kind of appeal.

Well yeah, I must admit I'm more likely to hate a nose than be turned on by one . So I guess the downside is to hate and the upside is to be indifferent to . But then I hate Linda Evangeline's nose of course, but it makes her more unique as a model I guess (like a bird of prey).

Um...Cindy's is pretty boring to me (like a slightly ambitious JC Penny ad), plus she looks constipated in a couple pics and the other... 1.5 each .

Its just an open kind of thing without a set time limit atm. The hope is to get enough votes (preferably 50 or more) whereby someone couldn't make the top 5 just by virtue of being on 3 lists. Of course the regular comp voters who haven't voted by now should be counted as a loss for the most part, but we could probably ask people from the actress threads. And of course if it just fails, it won't be the first, but I would still average the votes in such a case in honor of those that did vote .
