I thought the model of the month was the one nominated during this same month with the highest score.
You are welcome! I understand it. It's a bit confusing but the ones we rate every month just enter the top 50 but the number 1 stays the same if nobody beats the score.

Last month she was nominated by I think @Stormbringer 😛. She stayed on the first position because no model of the month April beated her score of 8.39.
Edit: It was on March 11th and you gave her a 9.

May Day 1 + 2: You can nominate models who have less than 50.000+ followers on Instagram. There is no age limit anymore because it took a lot of time to verify this with 200 models.
