Ellis’ theory is that the project doesn’t actually exist, and the news we’ve gotten so far is someone just “testing the waters” to see if such a project could pique the interest of an audience. All he knows for sure is that he’s not involved in it whatsoever: If it does exist, I am not involved, I have nothing to do with this, I might get some money if they do this, but I am not involved creatively on any level, and that is all I know. An “American Psycho” film, directed by Mary Harron, and starring a never-better Christian Bale, was already released in 2000. Could this “fake” Guadagnino reboot just be an attempt by Lionsgate to boost its stock? It’s no secret that the struggling studio is trying to be sold, and a shiny new project like this one could make the studio look more attractive for acquisition. We will see (or not see) 🤷🏼♀️

Glad that our Underrated Queen was noticed after all. She needs a team that will promote her better.

Michele Morrone
No, this movie is too obviously bad for me to waste time on it lol

Paul Mescal
In this case, it is better for them not to inflate the budget. Gladiator 2 would be fine at the box office, if not the inflated budget.

Sebastian Stan
I hope he leaves this trash (MCU) soon. He's too good for that. The same goes for Miss Flo.

Yes to the cast, but Idk about the idea

A very American story lol

Austin Butler
Even if it's a remake, it's still an erotic movie with Austin in the main role, directed by Luca Guadagnino

Couldn't care less about him lol. Anya is the only reason I'm going to watch this movie.- Cillian Murphy

Huh?- Last movie you saw...
Thanks! Comparison with the original was inevitable, but to be fair, sequels rarely reach the same level, let alone surpass the original. You have named the main task of blockbusters. And Gladiator II coped with this task perfectly.- Anya Taylor-Joy

Gives me chills already 🔥- The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
Well, we will see if it turns out to be true👀- The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
Ariana Grande and her new target🙊 @Jade Bahr- Last movie you saw...
A little late, but as I promised @Jade Bahr Well, it doesn't reach the original, but still far from bad. This is like a more blockbusterish remake of the original, where the emphasis was on action rather than plot and philosophy. Absolutely unnecessary, yet enjoyable. @Cult Icon Pros: 1. It was entertaining. I didn't feel like it was going on for 2.5 hours. 2. The visuals are fine enough. There are some obvious CGI, but in general everything looks "real". 3. No bad acting. 4. Denzel Washington is magnificent. Total show stealer. 5. Paul Mescal is beautiful and so fcking hot + a lot of shirtless sweaty muscular men (including Mr. Mescal himself). 6. Great fights. Cons: 1. A weaker plot and dialogues. 2. Paul was great overall, but he lacked the intensity of Russell Crowe. And maybe rage? Also, his character, as well as all the characters except Denzel's, were underwritten and underdeveloped. Overall, I liked it. Although I didn't have high expectations. This is a good action movie, especially compared to conveyor action movies overusing CGI. I understand the disappointment in Gladiator II, but harsh criticism is not justified imo.- Upcoming Movie News
So true. The original is really great and iconic, no wonder why Ralphie Cifaretto is so obsessed with it lol- Cillian Murphy
I respect Cillian and Yvonne even more now- The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
Well, I finished watching The Penguin and damn, it was excellent. What I loved the most was that the villain protagonist is portrayed as a real villain, not an antihero. He has no redeeming qualities, even his caring for mother has a selfish and perverted nature. Oz Cobb is a vile, slippery, ruthless and manipulative piece of sh*t that is damn interesting to watch. I also think he is a perfect product of his environment. In this Gotham, you have to be like Oz to survive. Colin Farrell deserves an Emmy, Globe, SAG and other awards that are given for television💯 To be honest, I didn't find the "shocking" twist of the finale so shocking. Although it was really unexpected and painful. ‼️SPOILER ALERT ‼️ The villains of Reeves' Batman movie universe are the most brutal superhero universe villains depicted on screen since The Dark Knight Trilogy imo @Cult Icon - Anya Taylor-Joy
