On a different note, I feel that a good actor must be able to leave his personality behind when he's on-screen. He or she must have a on-screen persona that is totally distinct from his or her real-life persona. That is why it is called "acting". Tom Cruise is a jerk in real-life, but on-screen he is totally cool. I spent time and money to see Tom Cruise kicking ass, not being a sissy wuss calling people "jerk" or "gimp". Needless to say, I got what I expected from his movies all the time. As long as he keeps kicking ass on-screen, what he does in real-life, I don't really care.
