Magdalena had some kind of health scare and had an operation and after that deleted her instagram account. The surgeon is known for plastic surgery and although Magdalena denied getting ( or removing ) breast augmentations, it seems likely that is the kind of surgery she went through. I like her work but am kind of relieved she is off social media. Kind of a train wreck, she didn't come across well. All these diva antics and her t shirt company....yikes. Hope she is in a better place now.

I saw there was an update in Stella's thread her so I rushed to it, hoping to see her usual cool yet elegant looks in a new campaign or editorial. I cannot believe she has passed. Had to chance to meet her as well in London years ago ( didn't know who she was at the time ) and in retrospect she was a totally modern, sweet and normal person. Wisely she was removed from the fashion world, living normally in Scotland most of the time when not working. I hope her family and friends have a lot of comfort. This must be so so hard for them to go through. She was much too young and vibrant to pass so early.

I agree with you radoglc. I like to hear different opinions which is normal and healthy. I miss the artistry, time, thought and stunning content of old editorial work. Who can forget Edita's work with Camilla Akrans and Sølve Sunsbø ? It is a shame that in a sense print and editorial fashion is declining to to online and application platforms. 🤩 WOW ! Thank you so much for those gorgeous photos you took of Edita. They must be from 2008 or so, that's when she had her natural hair color. I have the same coloring as her ( but with darker green eyes ) so it's neat to see what eyeshadow/makeup enhances her beauty most.

It really is a model's job to wear anything and pull it off. Even if models aren't paid to attend the Met Gala it is a huge deal in terms of being acknowledged by the fashion and media communities. That's one of the steps to becoming a household name in fashion. The others seem to be an American Vogue cover ( which I don't think Lily has had ) as well as Vogue Paris cover and alas having millions of instagram followers ( which really shouldn't matter ) along with being featured in Sports Illustrated magazine and/or Victoria's Secret fashion show. I know Lily likes to wear more simple, streamlined designs and focus on more impact in makeup ( and accessories, like the fish clutch 🤣🐟 ). She actually looks good with a purple lip, I think due to her darker eyes and hair. I've noticed some models and " celebrities " trying to pull off purple lipstick and they usually fail really badly. Also I think Lily is very mindful of her image, remember how in the youtube video on Met Galas she imparted she really didn't like Derek Blasberg taking a picture of her with her bodysuit visible. And the picture was auctioned off and she wasn't in control of that. Lily is definitely a family woman, not one to pose topless or with cigarettes. I respect her for that.

I actually really like both of these looks too ! Definitely edgy looks for Lily, she seems to usually choose more classic " glam " looks for events and the red carpet. I think her hair could've been more creative/edgy, but the veil and the boots bring OOOMPH and take it to the next level. The boots really elongate her legs ( not to criticize but Lily is one of the shorter models ) and red makes them pop. I love the after party look which is essentially an Off White t-shirt. All in all Lily came off really modern in these two looks.
