The Liverpool defence has been quite poor but he looks the goods. He had pace, technique, good movement and intelligent runs. He was calm and composed in front of goal and displayed his intelligence around the box with a combination of carrying the ball and holding up play. The only thing stopping him might be fitness and communication, but otherwise he was class. If he was worth 30m, I'd say it's 30m well spent.
