I never said you said he was I doubt he can bring the team to a higher level. What would he contribute that would make him any better than, say Horseface or something? Horseface relied to much on service the last two seasons. He hardly ever seems to create a goal for himself any more. (Something he still could pull off from time to time earlier in his career). Adriano didn't have the greatest of season, but like Cantona he can win games all by himself if he's in good form. And his presence seemed to inspire his Inter teammates. On the other hand, I doubt he would ever reach the cult status of Cantona. (Then again, no one probably ever will again and Man U). 2 years ago I would have agreed with you, but last year he was just awful :yuckky: He couldn't score, he'd hog the ball, and he'd get into fights his teammates and coaches <_< I don't think anyone will ever reach Cantona cult like status at Man U, maybe Rooney when it's all done
