I don't get what the problem is so much with Alexina, sure she doesn't have much outside VS, but what is the issue with her outgoing personality. What does she do that Barbara doesn't? And in particular, why should I care? I see qualities in both. Alexina is a damn good model, and I absolutely wish she had a lot more outside of VS.

The diversity is fine in my view, furthermore it doesnt need to be perfect. In my view, diversity should be a preference not something necessarily so political and ingrained with morality.
