Well they are the most important shows are during fashion week - VS used to have its place as a tv spectacle but seeing as no one watched and it’s market is virtually North America and parts of Asia to say its the most watched is still a stretch. Fashion week sets the standard for trends throughout fashion and it all trickles down to high street but Yh go off

Except they have on occasion but not really on the runway but that’s hf runways a different discussion. They don’t make their shows focussed on healthy bodies and being representative - it’s not about the model or the lifestyle it’s about the clothes whereas vs are selling a lifestyle goal hence it’s only typical that they would be more heavily scruitnised

There aren’t many relevant lingerie shows tbh - I don’t think using pregnant models is that deep

I would hardly even call it a fashion show but that’s just because of how gaudy the designs are. I think saying it’s the most watched is deffo a lie - in Europe it’s basically non existent and they only recently cracked Asia. The biggest shows are and always will be versace, chanel, etc. The fashion week shows

The show’s decline has nothing to do with viewers - many shows still outperform when they have something to give. Think how huge the Super Bowl is? Or a big finale of GOT. I honestly think this could be the show coming to an end - big networks aren’t going to air the show in a prime time slot when they could have a popular show in stead with triple the viewers and more ad money and VS won’t be able to invest in big performers

I love Yasmin but she’s at the stage where she will either put serious work in to hf or gain 10lbs and do VS - tbh I think she has better financial prospects in hf the way things are going

This year is a such a train wreck it deserves to flop, I’ll feel sad for Barbara though I want to have the world but honestly she deserves better than this company which has already treated her so heartlessly

The ratings have never been that high they inflate it hugely, they’re still claiming the show was watched by over a billion people last year. If that’s anywhere near true all of China must have tuned in - which obviously didn’t happen as we all know this company love lying a la fantasy bra

Agree, not more than like 6 million I can’t imagine - I do think the social media thing has a big part. I would only want to watch to see the Adriana farewell but it’ll be on YouTube the next day and the performers are so bad that I’m more than ok skipping the entire show.

How many viewers do people predict the show gets this year? Less or more because of the huge press commotion

VS should be embarrassed by their casting of only stick thin girls - emily isn’t the first beautiful girl to get rejected and she won’t be the last. Only bigger girls that get it are for celebrity reasons like gigi the first time and irina

The issue with swim was the price and the tacky designs. I mean it’s 2018 now people want cute swimwear like the amazing Candice line not neon bikinis
