VS should spend more time overhauling their innacurate sizing system and expanding their range if they want to truly innovate- bring in smaller backs and a wider range of cups that go up to at least a G

VS just don’t get it. The problem with their lingerie is I’m not going to pay £75+ for a set I can get cheaper, made better quality and of a greater variety and better fit. I would like to hope they’ve changed suppliers but I doubt it. Not doing over a ddd is just pathetic in this day and age especially as we know many women are already wearing back sizes too big for them because there’s stigma against bigger cup sizes

A VS contract is no longer aspirational, but part VS work may be but being a contracted model means little now especially financially and publicity wise given how many girls there are. Most of my female friends who are fairly into fashion couldn’t name them all by a long stretch

Imaani walked in VS and has never gone back neither have most of the top models in the game. There is no incentive bar the insta models who they hire for publicity. These girls easily make more than VS if they books few top campaigns a season. Why do you think girls like imaan and anna who are perfect for VS have no interest? It’s restrictive and the money’s not good enough. They’ll make The same amount doing a few perfume frangrance shoots. Whereas someone like Martha hunt who gets little to no work outside the pittance of VS makes nothing. It’s no longer an aspirational gig to successful models because it’s not worth it. Those who are barely known yes or very commercial like Barbara but grace will be an anomaly if she takes it especially that cheap

I think the issue is the show’s entire concept is outdated. They can only pull in numbers if they have a big musical act but they can’t afford that lol

I don’t see VS ever casting plus size models I reckon they will throw in one or two trans models next year for good publicity but honestly that whole debate is irrelevant - either way people wouldn’t have watched the show. I think the whole concept looks tacky and outdated hence why no one cares. Also it’s all on SM. Their problems are bigger than Ed and if thsy wanr it to continue it needs a complete overhaul

Intimissimi and la Perla aren’t the ones putting on a huge televised show each year, selling the angel lifestyle and image. VS have made themselves such a cultural phenomenon that they have to take responsibility for their influence it’s that simple
