actually you do. bree conden thread. it has since been deleted. ah you see...you could've worded it more carefully but instead you chose not to, which is exactly why i chose to respond as i did. personally, i dont believe i hold other women to a higher standard but then again i'm not sure if you mean that women hold other women to a higher standard than they hold men or that women hold women to a higher standard than men do. but the bottom line is that i didnt appreciate my comment being attributed to my sex when you dont know me well enough to make that assumption. you could've attributed it to me, the individual, and honestly that wouldnt have bothered me. but once you start implying that my comment has to do with my sex, when i dont believe that's the case, then i dont have much to say to you. i called it stupid and asinine because you didnt offer anything to back your statement. you are aware that you didnt offer an argument right? that you didnt even bother to explain what aspect of my comment struck you as something a female would say until this reply. so i'm so sorry if i didnt come up with a real argument, but neither did you, and so that's all you received in return.

Hmm. Well, what do you think about Annabella Sciorra's character? She is partnered up with Chris Noth, who was part of the original "Law and Order" cast. On a side note, congrats to S. Epatha Merkerson for the Golden Globe for best actress in a TV movie for "Lackawanna Blues". Kinda surprised she won. After all, she already won the Emmy for that role. i like Chris Noth's partner, though admittedly I've only seen her a couple of times. Actually, I kinda prefer her to Chris Noth

  22. Oh man, GISELE not a supermodel? Well, why would Dolce&Gabbana pay her load of money to be excluisve for their fashion shows only; for few seasons? No bud, Gisele is one of the biggest supermodels of all times, and like Taben said, she worked for the biggest major fashion brands doing their campaigns for many years, she graced hundred of top fashion magazines and for a five six years in a row I saw almost only her on magazine covers, it never happened before bro!! And this trust me, it's not an opinion... it's an absolute big huge fact that speaks much louder than words putting it in huge letters isnt going to make it a fact. not to mention that its really obnoxious and certainly doesnt make me want to read what you have to say that being said, i will say that i do feel that gisele IS a supermodel, but she exists in a time where true supermodels dont really exist. compared to her peers, hell YES she's a supermodel. she's straddled both high fashion and commercial, plus started the brazilian craze in the industry. now compared to cindy crawford, the trinity, and kate moss...well, gisele's status pales in comparison. no question that they are REAL supermodels. they basically defined the word. so in that respect, i do agree with what Dream Angel is saying. context is a big part of it. Big or small the bottom line is Gisele is a supermodel and she does not pale in front of Cindy at all, Cindy never made it as hign in the High Fashion as Gisele did.... She is the last supermodel and she is way hotter than Cindy NO QUESTION about!! PERIOD nope but cindy crawford is way more famous than gisele and was part of whats considered the original five supermodels. she was one of the ones to define the concept. btw i didnt just mention cindy. i also mentioned the trinity and kate moss Did you read and understand my post? If you read it carefully and try to understand what it says you will perfectly realize that I did not say that Gisele was more famous than Cindy, what I said is that Gisele made it much higher in the High Fashion where Cindy has never been. Cindy and the few others made their visbility in a moment where there was a boom, hence the major fame... Gisele came in a moment where the book was already over and there were too many models known to the lay people, yet in a moment where it's so difficult ahe made it as huge as the ones that started the hype, she did Dior campaign for consecutive years, missioni, Dolce&Gabbana and most prestigios brands we know... I prefer her to Cindy even if in her time Cindy was my absolute favourite! At the end the two are on my top ten list with gisele ranking higher obviously. I see Kate moss also as higher than Cindy., and my Bottom line my post was directed to that guy who said that in his opinion Gisele is not a supermodel, and my point was, this is not a matter of opinion, there can be no opinion unless are to be considered also the uneducated opinions.... Gisele Bundchen is a super model and today considered the most beatiful woman in the world... it's a fact!! *sigh* this is getting out of hand. yes i read and i understand. i was just providing my own justification for why gisele pales in comparison to cindy. i am not an idiot. i understood what you said but if you want to talk down to me and imply that i dont understand what you're saying then fine. have it your way. you speak about opinions but then you offer gisele being considered the most beautiful woman in the world as fact. sorry but its not. because beauty isnt fact. never has been. i am not going to tell you what i personally think of gisele's looks because i dont think her looks are necessarily relevant to the discussion of how good a supermodel she is, but her being the most beautiful woman in the world is not a fact. its your opinion, and the opinion of many, but still just an opinion.
