I agree that Behati is completely done with VS. To be honest, she kinda burned out in the high fashion world and I doubt she is gonna try to get back to VS, so I think she might be done with modeling overall. Being a mom is time-consuming with one child alone, so I bet she is completely fine staying at home with her kids. I think Lily will probably stay for her 10th show and exit gracefully, but without many photoshoots. I think Candice is probably gonna be back for the show, but based off of how crucial she is to campaigns, I assume that VS will beg her to stay and she'll probably give another two years or so. Candice is one of their cash cows, so she's not going down without a big celebration. Seeing how next year will probably be about Lily if she leaves and Adriana has the 2020 show, either 2019 or 2021 will probably be her last. Might be my hopes more that fact, but that's how I see everything going down. I honestly have a lot of doubt that Alexina will be made an Angel. Ed went this crazy about other girls who dropped quickly after (remember Alannah Walton?). I think Kelly and Grace have better chances anyways. Seeing how Ale's gone, VS needs to hit gold again and I doubt Alexina can be that, especially if she only has a few years with the brand, since she's almost 27. I could see Kelly being a big marketing tool, since she's young, well rounded in the fashion world and expandable, and one of the few famous South Asian models (she's Half Indian). Grace is already huge in high fashion and can only get bigger. Either would be smarter Angel contracts than Alexina. Blanca is definitely gonna be an Angel in a few years. I remember watching the casting video for this year and the way that Ed, Sophia, and Monica lit up when the saw her gave me the impression that they will be head-over-heels for her. She got some of the best outfits, was featured a lot backstage, and had a interview during the aforementioned casting video. No way they don't do something with her in the next few years, especially if they are expanding to Spain. I bet Robin and Roos will probably be big contenders as well. In terms of Taylor, it's hard to tell whether she'll stay for much longer. She's huge outside of VS, anyone who's seen her Instagram can tell. She just isn't that great of a model, which makes her harder to market as well as someone like Candice or Adriana. I think VS has noticed this and used her less because of it. I think Martha, Taylor, Kate, and Jac were supposed to be their big players, but Josephine showed up and Jasmine, Elsa, Sara, Romee, and Lais did better than expected, even though I have pegged them as the better Angels from the get go. Kate and Jac obviously didn't work out. Martha started off strong, but fell short in some areas of her role after the Taylor Swift friendship hype died down. That leaves Taylor to carry a lot of weight that the other girls clearly usurped from her. Hence why she got good outfits this year (they know she's beautiful and can pull off most anything), but they didn't give her anything significant. Part of me wants to think that they don't want to oversaturate the public with Taylor, since she's featured on various international covers and does many high fashion campaigns and runways, but that justification falls short when referring to Josephine or Candice circa 2012 - 2014. I assumed the same from Kate. I think VS knows she deserves bigger things, but the inability to expand her into international prominence due to the language barrier and the short window they had with her age made her virtually impossible to transform into a marketing spokesmodel. I bet they'll give her a closing next year if she goes to castings and drop her after. That's what I had in my plan/fantasy/hope

The Victoria's Secret "Should have been an Angel" Competition
Awesome competition! Oluchi is the real winner in my book, but good for Edita. Surprised Isabeli and Barbara didn't rank higher, but I'm happy some underrated queens got some high honors.

To be fair, this is one of the better ones. Madison Beer and Alexis Ren didn't really give her much competition in the first place...

I love your thought process, because I go through it basically every time I try and organize anything lmao. It's a mixture of both I guess. Originally, I had the likes of Iza and Shanina back, but I changed my mind and went for a more reasonable line-up, letting go of some of the girls I have grown attached to, but have seen VS drop. I've been able to justify not choosing some based off of how I thought they were treated and how their final show went, as well as how they have been following the end of their VS appearances. I've gone through several different casting processes, but haven't quite settled yet. With my most recent planning, I started with location, then selected a 10 person Angel line-up (based off of who I think should stay from the current one). I continued by choosing who got the FB/openings/closings/Swarovski Outfit from the Angels. I picked segments (six mainline and one PINK) based off of themes I thought could be original. I chose the opening and closing Angels for each and left room for non-Angels to fill and then separated the Angels so each had three looks and were distributed to different segments (i.e. Candice went in the first segment and filled segments four and six, which let me drop the other girls so no more than four Angels overpopulated a segment, except for two). After I sorted the Angels, I determined the show interludes from who was going to appear in each segment (ex. I gave Elsa the FB and centered a interlude around it prior to the appearance of it). Now, I'm trying to figure out who I want to fill the slots of the non-Angels and have compiled a list of over 300 girls and narrowed it down to around 50 possibles through different rounds of requirement. I'll probably rethink it and add another 100 girls and go back to square one, but hopefully I figure it all out. A lot of my thinking for 2018 centers around Lily announcing she's leaving and Ed actually dedicating a decent amount of attention to her, so it may be completely intangible based off of how little effort went into acknowledging Alessandra's exit.

Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Competition - RESULTS
I will nominate a bit later, but, in response to your final request, I think that there should be a maximum of 10 Angels. Preferably, I love the idea of having 8 strong ladies representing the brand.

I agree about the segments lmao. Guess I'll just have to cut one of my segments and add it to my 2019 version. I'd love to see that plan, especially if there are edits, as your work is amazing! I also think that Barbara was just trying to answer the question politely and show that there is mutual respect between herself and the brand. By saying that she isn't as confident as she was in her younger days, I think she means to say that VS is behind her.

Do y'all think that VS will ever do six segments + PINK? I made a whole sketch-up for how I would want the VSFS 2018 to play out and am currently relying on them to add another one lmao.

The Victoria's Secret "Should have been an Angel" Competition
1. Oluchi Onweagba I would've signed her right around the 2003 VS Fashion Show, allowing her to get introduced to the mainstream public during the Angel Tour of 2004. She had established herself as a top model by the turn of the century and picked up major deals by 2004 with LancĂ´me and CoverGirl, so clearly that would've been a turning point time in her career. VS could've made her a household name, like Gisele, especially if she was working as a spokesperson for VS while simultaneously covering magazines, appearing in beauty campaigns, and shooting SI. 2. Bianca Balti It's hard to pinpoint a good time for her to become an Angel, since she only walked one show, but I would say around 2007, if she returned for the fashion shows. 2008 would've been a big year for her. 3. Edita Vilkeviciute I'm just gonna say 2010, alongside the girls who got promoted at the time. I don't think she should be in the top three though... 4. Isabeli Fontana Sometime around 2008. 5. Barbara Palvin 2012. 6. Petra Nemcova Maybe 2005 - 2006?

Apologies, but I translated it again and she said she will consider trying out next year, but she was not confident enough this year to return. According to the IG post (yes I found it on Instagram), it was stated in an Elle China interview. The interview has to be translated, but it was found below. http://www.ellechina.com/luxury/news/20171121-272827-pn-8.shtml
