Is she (her people?) doing this with the 100's of sites that use her photos? Seems like an impossible and pointless task.

This doesn't surprise me. People don't understand how social media works. They think they still get to say what happens with the pictures once they post them, and that's not how it works. Once you choose to post, it's out of your hands.
