that "Karolina Kurkova's Weight Woes" story has made its way around the world. i've seen articles from Thailand, India, England, Morocco, Indonesia, Japan ... not to mention obviously Canada and the USA. she may not be as famous as Gisele or Naomi or Cindy, but she's apparently internationally newsworthy. shame about the topic though ... i hope she's healthy and well. i don't know if a thyroid issue is treatable, and if so i'm not sure of how they do it. but it just makes my heart melt for her, knowing that she's trying to stay fit and her own body is working against her. but really though, even if she puts on another 50lbs, she'll still always have that smile and that radiance. and i'll still think she's amazing!

yep ... i'm voting for Adriana as well. Izabel is outstandingly hot. and her cleavage is amazing as well ... but Adriana has this category locked. (*i feel like it's gonna be really difficult to choose here on out.*)

she's been SOOOO successful for SO long now ... i just can't understand why she isn't as internationally famous as ... say ... Laeitita Casta or Heidi Klum or Eva Herzigova or any of her peers. seriously, Daniela is STILL consistently working - sure, mostly catalogue stuff, but she's still bloody gorgeous and still landing top-bill lingerie and swimsuit work. yet, i doubt if anyone in the general population has ever heard her name before. she's been on the freaking SI Swimsuit issue TWICE! does she shy away from publicity?

wow. she really did make the best MANGO ads they ever had. she was superb! truly, she is one of the best models in recent history. very versatile and very comfortable and emotive. she's wonderful! that "Golden Girl" edit posted above by Nefertiti (first 4 pics) are some of my favourite KK pics! that right there is the best she ever looked. her body was utterly perfect. unmatched by ANYONE else in the industry. her smile, hair, skin. just supreme! thanks so much coluchka and Nefertiti and everyone else for the trip down memory lane!! here's hoping we see more of KK now that she's FREE IN 2009! haha.

i think the articles are being SARCASTIC. they're trying to make the point that people are insane and that fashion is insane. that obviously Karolina Kurkova is NOT fat and that it's ridiculous that this is what it's come to, that the quoted woman should actually believe that KK is fat.
