LOL... Are you guys hiring? (JK) One note about these pics, Miranda's hair seems very, very light - almost blond. Perhaps it's just the sun giving it that color, but I don't like it. If she isn't going to go back to the very dark color that she had at the end of 2007, then I wouldn't mind if she went a bit more red or cinnamon with the color. My response from blom's quote in SAO's forum. I referred to the show as a "travelling circus" in post 27 of this thread, and I agree with you. It's good news that there is supposed to be a show this year. It reinforces the fact that VS doesn't revolve around just a couple of their angels. I hope they finally give us the "Return To Glamour" that they promised us last year but didn't happen. I wish we could take the best aspects of the previous televised shows and put it together in one. 2001 & 2002 - I really like the simple scenery/back drops. No neon signs and all of that. 2003 - My favorite segment was the Sexy Kittens that Karolina opened 2005 - My favorite opening with the Sexy Santas and diamond bra, and I also loved the Russian segment 2006 - My favorite segment was the final one that Karolina opened with the diamond bra, and I also liked Ana Beatriz's closing. 2007 - .... 2008 - The P!NK segment was clearly the best one of the entire show. In previous years, it was babydoll whore, but they definitely hit the right stride with this one. I'd be thrilled if they used "Supernova" by Mr. Hudson and Kanye West for music. Things I don't want to see... - Pointing, waving, armpits - A short runway - The performer on the runway with the model (Okay VS, you've done this 4 years in a row, it's time to give it a rest.) - Slow motion shots of the models - Caroline Winberg I don't care who opens, closes, or gets the bra as long as the show in itself is of a great quality, and it just hasn't been.

Feel free to put me on your ignore list because I cannot promise that I will wear my rose-colored glasses every time I venture into this forum. I have this problem called "Honesty Peppered With Sarcasm." It's a personality flaw.

You know what? Forget I said anything. It's clearly going over people's heads. It's not a big deal that Adriana might not be in the Christmas commercial, and it doesn't seem like anything worth digging for deeper information about. That's all my point was. The response? I got an essay from more than one of you talking about how super/great/important/fantastic she is. I mean seriously... is it that deep? I have no problem being labelled a troll because I don't understand the obsession over where Adriana ranks in the heirarchy of the angels and the need to write essays to prove that she is the "Best Thing Ever" on every single message board. You're right. There is no argument. I mean the company couldn't possibly have a Christmas commercial without her. They couldn't possibly have a fashion show where she doesn't open and point her fingers at everybody. Everything should just be cancelled because if Adriana is not there, then it's not worth doing. Why not? Heidi didn't participate in the 2005 Christmas commercial when she was pregnant. Alessandra didn't participate in the 2008 Christmas commercial when she was pregnant. It shouldn't be hard to believe that Adriana won't be participating in the Christmas commercial now that she's pregnant. She's not some "Super Angel Extraordinaire." It is possible for the company to have promotions, commercials, fashion shows, etc... without her.

There are usually rumors and speculation floating around, but the real confirmation has typically come only when the picture is released to the media or when the model would go on Leno to unveil the bra. The only reason why it was confirmed early last year was because Adriana opened her mouth and said something. I prefer that there be a little bit of mystery surrounding it. Last year was actually anticlimactic for me because we already knew who had it, and the bra wasn't all that either.

Her weight doesn't seem that different to me. She's always been on the slimmer side. Whenever people referred to her as curvy, I always thought "Yeah right." The most I've noticed are some minor fluctuations but nothing dramatic. Perhaps it's because I've always seen her as more toothpick than bombshell.

Arriving at LAX last night - 18 July 2009 (Perhaps to begin shooting the Christmas commercial that was mentioned on Alessandra's official forum?) Judging by these pictures, it kind of seems like she took Frankie out of the carrier just to pose for pictures. No reason to walk around the airport with a dog in your arms.
