I think it’s precisely because of what you mentioned (that Candice is an absolutely stunning woman who, at 38 (which isn’t exactly old), looks incredibly good, on top of being famous and rich) that she could have practically any man she wanted. So why did that man have to be, of all people, the ex of one of her best friends? Is she really so in love with Brady that it had to be him and only him, and no one else? We don’t know the details about Irina and Tom, all we know is that Irina and Joan get along very well, maybe better than ever. Irina doesn’t seem to have seen anything in Joan or her relationship with Brady that would make her angry with her, quite the opposite, in fact. I don’t know if Joan asked Irina for permission or what, or maybe she simply didn’t meddle in the relationship to cause them to break up. Joan has made it very clear that Candice did meddle in the relationship, referring to a show famous for a love triangle. It’s no secret that in the fashion industry everyone dates everyone, but when a friend betrays one of her best friends by getting in the middle of a relationship, that is news. I find it hard to see how Candice can get out of this situation without being seen as someone who hasn’t acted like a good friend.
