Victor Demarchelier was born and raised in New York. Having grown up in the fashion industry, he had an appreciation very early on for photography and fashion. Victor studied economics and fine art at Vassar College with a particular focus on printmaking. Shortly after graduating from college he began working with Patrick Demarchelier.
