Because her teachers perceived her to be antisocial, Fiona began psychotherapy at age 11. A year later she became the victim of sexual assault. She crafted a demo tape while in Los Angeles finishing High School. When she returned home to New York for Christmas one of the tapes found its way to a friend who supervised the care of a music industry executive's children. The executive played the demo's for producer, Andrew Salter who immediately requested a meeting with Fiona.

They were meant to be a group of three but when the judges couldn't decide they allowed four girls. My first new topic - wish me luck Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 produced two groups: a girlband and a boyband. Girls Aloud's first track "Sound of the Underground" was the first from a female group to debut at number 1 in the UK AND the first to get a Christmas number 1 with their first single. The boyband One True Voice were complete rubbish and sunk without a trace Poor guys, they never stood a chance! Girls Aloud are still going strong and have got better as time goes by in my opinion.
