This game is basically a Chinese version of Sekiro with a woman. I like the art style so far, definitely really cool.

Wuchang is very successful (111,000 + players on steam).

They should have designed a more attractive/personable female lead, or use a male lead instead.

Wuchang is a really good Souls-like game. But it came out way too late and is also janky/with glitches. If this game came out at the same time as Sekiro it would give FROMSOFT some competition and headaches. It is about 6 yrs too late and Elden Ring outclasses it.

The main character is what Chinese people would universally consider attractive, but not what all western audiences would like.

Her physique is too dainty and eyes are too small for me.

They could have changed her appearance to someone who can appeal to both sides.

The Boss from MGS3/MGSD character model is based on this actress: Charlotte Rampling

The Wuchang game has great atmosphere and I think it's something new for the genre- a dark souls/sekiro type game set in an ancient chinese setting.

Too bad it seems to be overshadowed by WuKong and dismissed as a 'soulslike" due to people playing the elden ring DLC like crazy.

I think in the future there could be more made with even grander scope and higher budgets.

Overall, the human bosses in Wuchang are probably better than those in Elden Ring. There are a couple of bosses that give Malenia a run for her money. They definitely made them harder than in Elden ring, they are very fast and hyper-aggressive with fewer windows of opportunity.

It is also cool that they are Chinese for once, which is older and much larger culture than Japan (which is frankly overexposed). In reality japanese culture is a spin-off of Chinese.
