Maybe it´s only a rumour. The newspaper was "The Sun".

In another Cristiano Ronaldo Forum was written that he has another girlfriend called Rebecca Davidson. They were seen together after the game Man United - Newcastle United, but without photos.

Real Madrid Trying To Buy Cristiano Ronaldo?

Real Madrid allegedly have contacted their esteemed English counterparts, Manchester United, over the purchase of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has been in sensational form this season for the Premiership leaders, and now the Portuguese star is subject of a giant offer from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Spanish publication ABC reports Real have tabled a giant offer for Ronaldo, upwards of 40 million Euros. It is believed, however, Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson will not consider any offer below the 70 million Euro mark.

United sit atop the Premiership table and Ronaldo is a big reason why. The 21-year-old has bagged 12 goals this term in the league, and his attacking prowess will be needed more than ever with striker Louis Saha slowed by injury.

Real, meantime, are third in the Liga standings but still in the title hunt. Sevilla sit first, while Barcelona - who have a game in hand - stand second.

Coincidentally, on Wednesday Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, revealed he had offered his client to Barcelona at the end of last season only for the reigning European Champions to turn down the offer in the hopes of snagging Thierry Henry.

REAL WOULD BREAK BANK FOR RONALDO

Real Madrid are reportedly willing to pay 50million Euros (£35million) for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Wednesday's Spanish newspapers revealed that Manchester United's brilliant Portuguese winger is top of Real sport director Predrag Mijatovic's summer shopping list.

But with United desperate to hang onto their most prized asset, the Spanish giants know it won't be easy to take him away to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Madrid daily AS reports that Los Galacticos are prepared to bid 50million Euros in a bid to get their man.

At just 21 years old Ronaldo is seen as the man to replace David Beckham as Real's main global marketing star, as well as giving their attack a massive boost on the pitch.

If a deal did go through at that sort of price he'd become their third most expensive signing ever, after Zinedine Zidane (£48million) and Luis Figo (£37million).

Barcelona have also been linked with Ronaldo, and any interest from Catalonia could drive the fee even higher.

United meanwhile, continue to maintain that the player is not for sale at any price.

Assistant boss Carlos Queiroz says the club are already planning to start negotiations on a new contract with Ronaldo, although his current deal doesn't run out until 2010.

He said: "It is natural that the media talk about Cristiano Ronaldo with Real Madrid.

"He is a great player and Madrid are a great club, but it is just speculation. They are fantasises.

"The football that he is playing in Manchester is an example that he is happy here and he has his head at United. He has talent and is the best in the world."

Red Devil Red Alert Over Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United are starting to feel the first signs that another Old Trafford idol will be lured away to the Spanish capital as Real Madrid appear to have set their sights on a second ManU number 7. Will Cristiano follow in David’s footsteps?

Spanish daily ‘As’ (Ace) quotes a 50 million Euro offensive being put together by the men from Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo seen as the cornerstone of a new Merengue project as new President Ramón Calderón tries to stamp his own identity on the club.

With the Kaká bid having failed spectacularly last summer, a fresh assault on a young idol is being prepared and Manchester United are starting to feel the heat being turned up. After all, the number 7 all but threw a tantrum and wanted a move to the White House last summer.

He’s under contract until 2010, but the deal could be bettered by Madrid, so Old Trafford are pondering raising the club salary ceiling and offering the Portuguese forward a practically bulletproof lifetime contract at Manchester.

Alex Ferguson and owner Malcolm Glazer, are desperate to retain the star who’s still seen as developing his game rather than having peaked already. A Red Devils spokesman confirmed the Coach’s determination to continue counting on the player.

"Alex wants to build a future Manchester United around Cristiano and we’re working on a contract update that reflects the player’s performances and his importance to the club. This team needs him, never mind how much money Madrid offer, he’s more valuable here."

The 21 year-old is enjoying his finest season so far with 13 goals scored already and praise raining down from all corners of the sporting media. His shining performances have already earned him four all-expenses-paid R&R days in Dubai courtesy of Ferguson and Queiroz.

The only thing that remains to be seen is if Cristiano Ronaldo will follow his heart or the best offer. He’s back in the bosom of the Red Devil faithful after his stroppy summer outbursts and could well become a myth at Old Trafford, but the White House is beckoning with untold riches. Which will – or should – he choose?
