It is directed by Pete Docter and co-directed by Kemp Powers, from a screenplay by Docter, Powers, Mike Jones and Tina Fey. The film stars the voices of Jamie Foxx, Fey, Questlove, Phylicia Rashad, Daveed Diggs, and Angela Bassett. Soul is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on November 20, 2020.
June 29, 20205 yr There seems to be a bit of a pattern emerging with Pixar nowadays where, whenever they release two different films in the same year, one massively outperforms the other, both at the box office and in terms of critical reception. This would appear to be getting a much bigger promotional push than Onward, and looks considerably better.
