avadakedavra
AS OF 12 MIDNIGHT.LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS FALLING ACROSS NORTHERN MARICOPA & S. GILA COUNTIES. HOURLY RAINFALL RATES IN EXCESS OF ONE HALF INCH PER HOUR WILL CAUSE NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS IN THE ADVISORY AREA TO RUN INTO EARLY THIS MORNING. MINOR STREET FLOODING IS ALSO LIKELY ACROSS MAINLY NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE PHOENIX METRO AREA. FURTHERMORE.THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL DURING THE DAY TODAY WHICH COULD PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING. THUS A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT TODAY. ^ lots and lots of rain
k_dub
Mayn, this SoCal living is a muthafucka, mayn. Since the rain has been coming down, it seems like having that house on the hill ain't what it's cracked up to be. Houses been sliding off the hills, ain't can't do nothing to save them. A few of them had to be demolished. A lot of street closures have been issued as well due the weather.

Guest
Love the Sun, Love the Rain, but too much of both is bad. During the Summer I spend a good deal of time in Sacramento, after a few days of 110 degree temps I'm ready for someplace cold.

k_dub
raining and tornados in SD the worlds comeing to an end!!! * runs * Check this out: In one Sunland neighborhood, the water runoff is so high, that people can't in get in or out. That means either people can't either get to their homes or leave their homes. The sinkhole is Sun Valley SO HUGE that even L.A. mayor James Hahn took notice!!! SoCal has become a NATURAL DISASTER AREA!!!
