What do you think of it?

I've been looking for some mini series to fill in gaps between long seasons of certain shows

It's only 3 episodes long.  I haven't seen it yet but it has high production values (elaborate sets and costumes) and looks well made/acted.  It should be interesting if you find the history behind Guy Fawkes interesting.

I haven't looked too much into Guy Fawkes, though I'm always ready to learn something new or something I didn't know about someone or some event, Usually it's mostly WWII stuff which I have to get into more, but alas :pinch:

"Guy Fawkes Night, also known as Guy Fawkes Day, Bonfire Night and Firework Night, is an annual commemoration observed on 5 November, primarily in Great Britain. Its history begins with the events of 5 November 1605, when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords. Celebrating the fact that King James I had survived the attempt on his life, people lit bonfires around London; and months later, the introduction of the Observance of 5th November Act enforced an annual public day of thanksgiving for the plot's failure."

I watched part of E1 and it's good.  The show ends with the bitter end of the plotters and their execution.  I will watch the whole show when I have time.
