Anna Nicole Smith has died, this according to her attorney Ron Rail. She was 39.

Desperate attempts to save her life were made by paramedics en route to Memorial Regional Hospital. Smith did not survive, despite receiving CPR and emergency intubation to facilitate her breathing.

Smith collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida and died at a local hospital hours later.

Anna had been transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood just after 2:00 PM EST and died around 3:45 PM EST.

WFOR-TV in Miami reports that Anna was found unresponsive in her hotel room. Local streets were closed off to rush Smith to the hospital, three miles away. Paramedics were seen pumping her chest as she was taken from the hotel.

Anna had been hospitalized for a week last November with pneumonia. Daughter Dannielynn, subject of an ongoing DNA test battle, was born on September 7. Her son Daniel died of a drug overdose on September 10. People magazine is reporting that Dannielynn is in the Bahamas.

Anna frequented the Hard Rock. Just a month ago, a playful Anna was caught showing off new body art to Hulk Hogan during a boxing match.

I hope this isn't real 'cause I don't like hearing about people dying, but that'd be a pretty sick joke to play so it's probably real?

RIP if it is....

Its breaking news all over cnn, people, entertainment tonight. It's for real.

That poor little girl, I wonder which loser is going to end up raising her.

Thanks for confirming. I'd feel like such an idiot if it was just like.. lame gossip.

thats just too sad......

another tragic legend icon....

tragic. rest in peace dear Anna.

I can't believe she died.

I am SO shocked by her death! I just got home from school, and opened MSN, and there it was! I can't believe it!

R.I.P. Anna.

I can't believe this. I was watching her bio a few days ago. I don't think it's natural that both of them died without a logical reason.

Im sorry about this.. damn. I liked her.

OMG. Do you guys think that it was suicide ? I mean. I think it was.

I really liked Anna--maybe had her faults, but I always thought she was gorgeous.

I am very sad she is gone.

going to try to find what pics I have and post what isn't already in this thread.

RIP, Anna.

I think she killed herself because the father of her daughter was actually HER SON. Y/N

Hahaha i'm too shocked.

What? The father of her daughter was her son? No waaay. I hope that isn't true.

I'm very sad that she died.

so sad i feel bad for her and for her daughter never going to knwo her real parents she was such a beauty icon i mean she was slutty but gorgous face
