I remember a TV report that I saw a couple of years ago about nightmares. They said that girls tend to fear what's under the bed and the boys tend to fear what comes from the windows or the doors. About nightmares, for me I get them when I'm stressed (my dreams usually have something to do with the worry) or when I'm having a diet day and go to bed almost hungry. I think it might have something to do with not having enough glucose entering the brain.
