QUICK STORY ABOUT TOPMODEL MAGAZINE I was 12 years old and at the games arcade with my father, I had not thaught about fashion, models etc. at that stage. At the shop next door they had brought into our country, containers full of foreign magazines that they were selling for really cheap by the kilogram REMEMBER at that stage, 1994, we were still very behind with getting all the fancy european/american glossy magazines - because of Apartheid/sanctions etc. FOR some reason the one magazine "spoke" to me and I had to have it! I had to beg and plead my father to let me get it, and eventually he gave in... GUESS WHAT MAGAZINE IT WAS Topmodel #2 - the HELENA CHRISTENSEN ISSUE!!!!!! CAN you imagine this 12 year old going home and paging through I think it is 30 pages on Helena, Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Laetitia Casta etc. EVER SINCE THEN I AM ADDICTED TO THOSE GIRLS ESPECIALLY THE QUEEN OF THEM ALL HELENA! I actually always thaught I was weird loving her and the "old" girls so much - then I found Bellazon and discovered there is a whole community of "weirdos" who love the girls and collect pictures of them SO glad you are all out there!!! August 6, 200915 yr DOES ANYONE HAVE THE "Gilda" story, Helena did for Italian Vogue - probably 1992ish, only saw a small pic once in TOPMODEL Mag -I think- but never seen full editorial here we go my dear ... here we go ... Helena as Gilda italia vogue 04/93 and as I love surprises ... here from italia glamour 05/93 just a kind of reprinted stuff obviously I add one page which came from the same issue which is reprinted stuff from italia vogue 01/93 ok I post it in case of ! so ten first italia vogue 2 following italia glamour and Alice in wonderland italia vogue 01/93 and oups I forgot one !! actually I think I have all her work for italia vogue ! just the first ever editorial in 06/89 that I would like to clear up with number of pages ! but our friend Silvana may be helping us ... Hi pierrehc! Maybe this seller can tell? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RARE-VOGUE-ITALIA-Ju...id=p3286.c0.m14 I´ve sold for a friend some years ago his italian Vogue magazine collection and had a copy of this June 1989 VOGUE Italy with Rachel Williams on the cover. The editorial "POSITANO" is 12 pages and the nr. of the issue is 470. This is the only stuff on Helena inside of this issue. Some may know italian VOGUE sometimes had 2 issues in one month out or such Speciale issues. So you need to know the nr. if you look for something specific, not just the month and year. Just for your info.
