This is great! I read that California might be joining as well. The EU has also finalized a free trade agreement with India and is pursuing a targeted economic partnership with China. Countries are so f**** tired of the orange man’s tariffs, imperialism and mood swings.

Top U.S. export partners (approx. 2025 data):

Canada: 15% (~$400B)

Mexico: 11% (~$300B)

EU: 27% (~$730B)

Japan & CPTPP Asia-Pacific: 10–12% (~$270–320B)

Potential export impact if these partners favor EU-CPTPP trade:

EU (~$730B) + Canada (~$400B) + CPTPP Asia (~$300B) = ~$1.43 trillion

That’s about 53% of total U.S. exports

The US' most significant export is not even goods/services but the US dollar & treasuries. This is the 'tax' it collects from the rest of the world so it can run deficit spending. Naturally this cannot go on for another hundred years if the US military is no longer considered the best in the world and the US economy's problems continue..

It is common knowledge in the US that de-industrialization destroyed the real economy. The problem is the radical de-industrialization of the late 1970s- 2000s is easy to do but re-industrialization takes decades. Trump must know this and the tariffs was always just optics/theatrics to satisfy blue collar supporters.
