babranski Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 That sounds like Resolution, you should lower your resolution. My scanner has a default resolution of 200, which makes my scans come out to like 2000 x 2000, way too big. Lower it to 75 and its a managable 750 - 1000 pixels either. I think the problem with my scanner is that its just old and dirty, I wish I could figure out how to get underneath the scan bed and clean the bottom of it, its got fingerprints and water streaks all over it. The only reason I even have a scanner is because my dad got an HP three-in-one copier/scanner/printer thing free because he bought a couple laptops for my sisters.
