@BAGGOT and @Shale586 Are you both ready to be super jealous?

 

I got to meet Maggie tonight, shared a few drinks with her, and talked with her for a while.

 

She is in town for a friends wedding, and a friend of mine is also staying at the resort. The resort had set up some telescopes to do stargazing and I went over there with a few of my friends nieces and nephews to supervise them. While they're looking through the telescope, I start chatting with somebody next to me, but it's super dark and I have no idea who it is until the light hits just right and I realize it's Maggie!!!

She was the last person I was expecting to run into you in the middle of the desert at a dude ranch. She is much smaller (shorter) in person that I expected. I made sure not to let her know I knew who she was. Then the group went onto the patio of the "saloon" to have drinks. Turns out my friend is friends with Maggie's friend (the one getting married). So we chatted and I asked her where she is from and then talked about living in South Carolina, etc..

I just made sure not to make it awkward and bring up anything I knew about her such as modeling. She eventually mentioned it and how she is also a nurse who volunteers.

Needless to say, it was a very surreal moment because I was not expecting to run into her of all people on a Friday night 3 miles from my house. The friend I'm visiting invited me back to the resort to grab breakfast tomorrow and it's an all inclusive resort that only has breakfast available for three hours in the morning so there's a possibility I might run into her again.

 

Absolutely incredible, @JSNBourne. I hope she was as nice as she seems to be. Fun to have had that totally unexpected encounter and hope you get a chance to connect at breakfast. If you do, give an update.  

@JSNBourne cool! I grew up going to school with maggie in south Carolina (got yearbook photos for proof). Can confirm she's quite short. I wasn't close with her but she dated my friend Eddie for a bit in middle school. Its my one claim to fame hah. It's really cool to see how big her career has gotten

On one hand I'm jealous, on the other hand I know I would faint, or make a fool of myself, or realistically not say anything to her if I ever saw her in real life. I'm also from SC

Update: I never saw her at breakfast or at the resort again. I had not been out to that dude ranch/resort in years and did not realize how many people it could hold now. There were at least 250-300 people there that weekend and I think a vast majority of them were there for the wedding. Lots of activities people were doing such as horse back riding, going into the desert in dune buggy, etc..

For those interested, she was at Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. I didn't share at the time because didn't want to encourage any stalkers. I know she's posted visiting Tucson before for modeling jobs, specifically at Canyon Ranch Resort & Spa and Miraval Resort.
