September 28, 20159 yr I don't usually find runway shots to be especially memorable, but Hedvig's are some of the most striking I've seen from any model. There's a certain wistful quality to her facial expressions and a real mournful look in her eyes. Great name, too.
September 29, 20159 yr Author I followed her since the beginning- she started off with a bang and this year she's done well. She looks like a character from a King Arthur story. Lady of the lake? I think it also helps that the up and coming models walking in this season's FW are the least memorable crop I've ever seen- Hedvig stands out like a sore thumb. It's kind of surprising that someone like her- who has a completely unconventional look- would do well. She doesn't look attractive/sexy either to men or women. She's just especially striking in a mysterious sort of way.
February 25, 20169 yr Author It's almost March 2016 and Hedvig is still going strong. High end contracts and fashion weeks. She is all over the a major branded store currently.
