Just a quick reminder that these images were already posted, just two posts above yours. Please take a moment to double-check before posting. We ask all members to review at least the last five pages to avoid duplicates.

If your images are significantly larger or show a clear, notable improvement in quality, that’s perfectly fine, go ahead and post. But repeated reposts increase our hosting costs, and we’re trying to keep things less expensive lol. This isn’t a huge ask. We ask that you go back 5 pages to make sure images aren't repeats, if it happens it happened, but we’ve noticed you’re one of the few users who consistently overlooks this. If it continues, we’ll need to place your account under mod watch, which means all future posts will require staff approval before being seen...

How is rotating the images to the correct orientation considered a repost?

While your attempts at levity are appreciated, they are falling flat. As stated in Pretty's post we are trying to reduce costs and server space isn't cheap. It was a conscious decision to encourage our members to post to the Bellazon servers so that when image hosting sites go down we aren't left with numerous blank pages.

We appreciate your contributions, but rotating the pictures is still considered a repost. Our members are quite capable of rotating the images on their own, or rotating their necks so that they can view the images. Please be aware that now that it has been brought to your attention any future infringements will result in removal of the post and if the behavior continues we will put you on mod watch.

@phenobarbie @PrettyDeadThings I see plenty of other "reposts" throughout the forum but are left untouched? Help me understand... why the selective enforcement?

Apologies if it seems like we're meant to have omniscient powers.... but we're not all-seeing or all-present, unfortunately. We rely on reports to flaged posts and address issues as we encounter them.

No need to apologize.  You and other admins are doing your job to keep this forum on the up and up, which I respect and recognize is not always an easy task.

Most of the members here use this forum as an online community to share and enjoy content among the models and celebs we follow and admire, which I believe was the original intent of its late founder when he created this community over 20 years ago.  Through no fault of yours (hence no apology needed), I find the reporting/flagging of my posts to be ridiculous, petty, trivial, and possibly even vindictive with a severe case of OCD.  If things like this bother them so much that they feel the need to report it, I sincerely hope they seek help IRL because there are bigger fish to fry when it comes to things to complain about. Even the OP didn't have a problem with me changing the orientation of the pics.

For those members that may not be as tech savvy as you would think, they might appreciate the photo edits to the proper orientation; I also made sure not to repost the other portrait content from the OP.

As far as storage costs go, we're talking KBs with these pics among TBs of content that's posted, which I would contend is negligible.  And if you look at my 30K+ contributions as a whole during my time as a member, I would surmise at best that less than 0.1% could be deemed as "reposts".

For all intents and purposes, this type of reporting/flagging should be considered frivolous and wasting time that could be spent addressing more blatant forum violations.  It's like your neighbor reporting an HOA violation for some blades of grass that are too high among the entire lawn.

At the end of the day, we're just here to have some fun, at least that's how I feel when I contribute to this forum.  Not sure if others agree...

Thanks for your time and consideration of my side of the argument before rendering judgement that my content are reposts. I know there's a degree of subjectiveness.

In a nutshell: Much ado about nothing

Since I likely triggered this, I’ll respond briefly.

Calling reports “ridiculous, petty and OCD” is pretty ironic coming from someone who demands every image be rotated and converted to a specific format for your own preference. If consistency matters that much to you, then you should understand that forum rules matter to others as well.

I don’t know you and I’m not invested in what you post beyond following the guidelines here. Reporting rule violations isn’t personal. If that bothers you, that’s on you.

We all agreed to the same rules. If you don’t want your posts reported, follow them. And trust me, I'll keep bitching and abusing the report button until you do.

End of story.

Was it you?!? I had no clue. I thought it was some other Karen and thought we were cool. Didn't know you had so much pent up animosity. Anyway, I hope you're OK and figure things out. Don't let these trivial matters get the best of you. No hard feelings on my end. Keep on posting, Broheim.
