Well, it could be that she attends (publicly or not entirely publicly -> side-entrance) the world premiere of "Shutter Island" in Berlin. It's a ~6-9 hours trip in total, so maybe because of the fun with jet-lags, she kind of opted out...?

I know, pure speculation. :/

Those articles are really stupid for some reasons:

  1. Bar arrived BEFORE Brooklyn to the Launch Party in NYC, Brooklyn was tapping Letterman so she arrived later, Bar was already doin' her interviews when Brooklyn arrived
  2. I don't think they're compitin' each other, they seem to be good friends ... & as much as i love Brooklyn we all know that Bar is more famous than Brookie by far ... & Brooklyn shooted before Bar this year so the first pictures in the internet were Brookie's not Bar!
  3. & the most important: Bar is not the only one who didn't attend the events in Vegas, Irina Sheik wasn't at the events either ... I guess they're doin' other things

& hajopal made a good point, remember that Bar was in Europe the day before the day of the launch ... Maybe she's just tired? I mean is a long trip from Europe to NYC to a long event & then to Vegas ... She's a human

Relax everyone ... Bar will be finally back w/SI, she's goin' to be Live @ UStream w/MJ tonight @ the red carpet of the party! ... Hopefuly we'll get tons of pictures

I saw the whole ustream thing! It was amazing, it makes me love her even more :heart:

The most important of the thing:

  1. The models she seems to be more friends with: Brooklyn, Esti, Irina & Jessica W
  2. The models she seems not to be really familiar with: Jessica G, Hilary Rhoda & Julie O
  3. The only model she seems to be really really uncomfortable with: Anne V, she asked ONE question to her & her face wasn't the best, she did it just 'cuz MJ tell her to =/
  4. She said the next places she's goin' to: Germany, New York & Israel
  5. She was asked 'bout what she's doin' for Valentine she said that it was a trick question, her face was the cutest thing ever & she was laughin'
  6. Brooklyn asked her if she was feelin' better & Bar said yes & then she said that she was sick & that's the reason why she wasn't @ the other events ... If im not bad, Irina said that she was also feelin' sick
  7. She said her dress was in her closet & that she had no idea of who is the designer ... She named a few of her fav. designers & can't remember all, just Roberto Cavalli & some new designer

Her dress was amazing, i LOVE the shoes & her hair was lookin' really good ... Perfect from head to toe

@hajopal i think you can watch the whole thing in SI Facebook ... But it's really really long, two hours or even more, but it's worth it ... Bar was just amazing, like MJ said Bar could quit modelin' & be a host hahaha

Is Bar Refaeli, last year's cover girl of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, a sore loser or a team player?

Depends on who you believe after a report surfaced in the New York Daily News suggesting the Israeli beauty was miserable over losing the title to Brooklyn Decker

Insiders involved in the Las Vegas leg of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit launch quickly attempted to shoot down the report. Refaeli was a no-show at a Wednesday event in Las Vegas, but it was because she was "under the weather," a source said, not because she was boycotting it.

"The item is ridiculous," a second source told Vegas Confidential. "She's here. She was on the plane. She'll be at the party tonight (Friday's event at the Hard Rock Hotel)."

The Daily News reported Thursday that Refaeli "looked anything but pleased" when she attended the launch party in New York City on Tuesday night. The newspaper, quoting a source, said Refaeli, who has been dating Leonardo DiCaprio for some time, was scowling and at first brushed off fans and photographers before getting involved.

A second source close told me, "Despite being under the weather, she desperately wanted to join us in Las Vegas. She was scheduled for just one event on Wednesday, and we gave her the night off so she could be at her best for tonight's Club S.I.," the signature event of the three-day visit put together by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

The newspaper said Refaeli might have been upset because of premature reports that she was going to repeat as the cover girl.

Im almost sure they're goin' to spend Valentine's in Germany ... Really, Bar's face was the cutest thing ever when she was asked 'bout her plans for Valentine's, that was after she said she was goin' to Germany ... I guess she's leavin' the US today or something like that

& yes, i hope qe get some pictures of last night ... She really was amazing :heart:
