Special Recap: Lost: Revelations

Airdate: January 11, 2006 at 8 p.m.

  • Discover the complete story of the grueling first 48 days on the island for the fuselage survivors and tailies after the crash of Oceanic flight 815. Since the beginning, "Lost" has mystified and intrigued viewers with its interesting characters and unique style of storytelling. Season One dealt with the fuselage survivors, the hatch and a failed attempt to get off the island. Season Two continues these stories and also introduces viewers to the survivors of the tail section. "Lost: Revelation" puts these two seasons together in a linear fashion that provides an illuminating view on one compelling story. See the sequence of the aftermath of the failed raft attempt, the opening of the hatch, how the tail section and fuselage survivors lived separately and the unwitting intersections of their lives, and how both groups ultimately collided in one catastrophic moment. "Lost: Revelation" offers new and avid viewers a fresh perspective, comprehensive and enlightening, in one of television's most intriguing series.

Episode 2.10: The 23rd Psalm

Airdate: January 11, 2006

  • Master Sgt. Crystal L. Anderson was an extra in a filming of LOST in Hawaii. She played a member of a church congregation. The scene was designed to depict the mental flashback of a character in the show named Mr. Eko, played by veteran actor Adewale Akinnuowy-Agbaje. Per an interview with a local army newspaper, she says Mr. Eko is "king of the warlords" in Nigeria. He enters the church with other warlords and asks his brother, a minister in the church, to ordain him as a minister. Everyone is frightened, knowing Mr. Eko's reputation, and the church is cleared, so only two warlords, Mr. Eko and his brother, are left.
  • Guest starring are Adetokumboh McCormack as Yemi, Ronald Revels as Goldie, Pierre Olivier as Olu, Kolawolfe Obileye, Jr. as young Eko, Cynthia Charles as Nigerian woman, John Bryan as thug captain, Ellis St. Rose as priest, Moumen El Hajji as tough Moroccan, Lawrence Jones as lead soldier, Olekan Obileye as young Yemi and Achraf Marzouki as Moroccan no. 2.

Episode 2.10: The 23rd Psalm

Airdate: January 11, 2006

  • Mistaking Shannon for an Other, Ana Lucia killed her. So it's not a shock that the fuselage folks have been a little apprehensive about the tail-section survivors joining their camp. Those feelings intensify on January 11 when the imposing Mr. Eko learns Charlie's got a Virgin Mary statue, and demands the recovering junkie show him where he found it. That means a trek back to the downed Beechcraft full of heroin and a dead Nigerian "priest." "Eko [is] connected into the story of the drug plane," says executive producer Carlton Cuse. "People are curious about where that plane came from. We're gonna explain that." And what's Eko been up to with that big stick he's always carrying around? Reveals executive producer and cocreator Damon Lindelof, "He's carving Scripture on it." Remember the monster? We last saw it in May's season finale, when it appeared as a slithering mass of black smoke. "We will be seeing the monster in the January 11 episode," Lindelof says. Indeed, one character will have an up-close-and-personal encounter with the thing so viewers will get a better, longer look, too.

Episode 2.11: The Hunting Party

Airdate: January 18, 2006

  • Where's Wait? At the end of the November 30 episode, Michael sat down at the hatch's computer and got a shock: a message addressed to "Dad." Is it really from his missing son, Walt? Or might it be the handiwork of the deadly Others who nabbed him? Our lips are sealed, but we'll get closer to an answer when someone makes a chilling return in the January 18 episode. [...] And on January 18, we'll finally learn some of the problems that plagued Jack's marriage to Sarah and why that's bad news for any romance with Kate.

Episode 2.15: Maternity Leave

Airdate: Winter 2006

  • We have another new survivor of the crash. In episode 2.15, we will be introduced to Jessica, 16, who is described as smart, strong, attractive and will be found on the island.

General Season 2 spoiler.

  • When will we see more of Jack and Sawyer? With so much attention paid this season to introducing the Tailies, several fan favorites have gotten short shrift. That's about to change, producers promise. "We're really going back to the roots of the show," Cuse says. That means upcoming episodes focusing on Sayid, Charlie and Sawyer (look for Deadwood's Kim Dickens to play another woman from the con man's past in February).

Episode 2.12: Fire + Water

Airdate: January 25, 2006

  • Dominic Monaghan says, "We're gonna jump into some pretty Charlie-centric stories involving his struggle with the drugs on the island, and the fact that he feels in some way he's losing his grip on his relationship with Claire and also with the baby, which sends Charlie down a kind of one-way street. He's kind of on his way to self-destruction."

I'm so mad. Lost (Revelation) is just a summary of the stuff we already know. When are they going to move on to new stuff?

oh man. The black smoke came back and looked at Echo. That was so scary.

Edited by sahteene

His name is spelled Eko.

And they just did the revelations so we could catch up if we missed stuff and so we could refresh our memory.

Next weeks episode is going to be AWESOME. :o

They haven't given any real description of what it is or what it does, they just call it the monster.

There were plenty of little things throughout the Revelations episode that were not seen in the regular episodes last season.

I didn't see no Revelations episode :o
