Viola Davis stars as a law professor at a prestigious Philadelphia university who, with her students, becomes entwined in a murder plot.

How to Get Away with Murder follows the personal and professional life of Annalise Keating, a criminal law professor at the fictional Middleton University in Philadelphia, one of the most prestigious law schools in America. A defense attorney, Annalise selects a group of her best students from her university class to work at her firm. They are Connor Walsh, Michaela Pratt, Asher Millstone, Laurel Castillo and Wes Gibbins. In her personal life, Annalise lives with her husband, Sam Keating, but she also has a secret relationship with Nate Lahey, a local Philadelphia detective.

The show features an ensemble cast. The series stars Viola Davis as Professor Annalise Keating. Loving this show. It's got some good twists. And I really like Viola. She's a wonderful actress. The young law students all annoy me though lol.

I love this show! Love it!

 

My theories are that the wife kills the husband (Sam) for cheating on her and maybe getting Lila pregnant;

Or maybe Bonnie kills him for kissing her and getting her fired; or

Wes kills him for trying to rape Rebecca; or lastly the law students kill Sam as self defense for helping Rebecca.

 

I also think the girl (Lila) committed suicide after she found out she was pregnant.

 

Seeing as how the show is developed, maybe they won't say who killed Sam yet.

The last episode was pretty jammed-pack. That opening scene with Annalise and Sam :|

Started watching this show and even though I'm only two episodes in I really like it

It's really good. I like it more than Scandal. This and AHS have been added to my ever-growing number of shows to watch each week

Yeah the last ep was interesting. I had a feeling it was playing out the way it did.

I knew from the third episode...

Annalise was involved somehow with the murder of Sam. She had knowledge about it.

 

I think this person either killed was involved with the murder of Lila..

Bonnie being Lyla's killer. But I reckon it will be someone else. You remember how Rebecca mentioned someone who lived in the apartment before Wes? I feel like there something there.

And I knew the twist of the last ep from the beginning. I just had a feeling. Interesting to see where it will go now. The young kids have grown on me a little. But I can't get enough of Viola. She's so amazing and talented.

It's clear she went out to her bf's place and slept with him, while the kids were disposing of the body. And she called Bonnie all frantic. Very clever. She was trying to show she has a motive for that night and that she was all upset and worried. Woman knows her shit.

Good point! (Y) I guess it might be too obvious if it was her but I am still somewhat convinced she is involved b/c she is cray-cray and it is starting to show.  BTW, did they ever figure out where the scratch marks on the wall above Wes' bed came from? I might have missed that part.

I thought how she left a heartfelt voice message on his phone was so conniving and devious. Love it!

BTW, have you noticed Bonnie's weird obsession with Annalise & Sam? I bet she fantasizes about having a threesome with them

Hahaha yeah Bonnie is definitely a little cray. She is in love with Sam or something. It's weird and Annalise knows it too. I can't wait to find out how Bonnie came to be in their life. I'm sure that will be explored.

Nah they never explained the scratches but Rebecca said something like it was some law student who liked things rough or kinky something like that.

There is still so much we don't know. Like how Rebecca came to have Lyla's phone. I also wonder if

Wes will tell the rest that Annalise knows and was in on it.

Season 2 returns on Thursday, 09/24 @ 10 p.m.

I can't wait! Viola beyond deserved her nominations this award season, really rooting for her for the Emmy.
