happycanadian2 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 haha. you all get so sensitive!i didn't say she wasn't a great model. and obviously, within the fashion industry she's well known and has accomplished quite a bit. all i said was that SHE IS BORING. her body is great, her face is great, but she's just so "blah". it has nothing to do with Victoria's Secret. i don't know where you got that from, Francy. she just seems to have no personality. that's all. and i was merely surmising that it was due to her general "boringness" that she isn't nearly as famous as she SHOULD be, considering all the incredible work she's done over the years. again - not knocking Isabeli's modeling or work ethic. she has done A TON of stuff. i was only stating why i'm not interested in her. and speculating as to why she isn't famous. also - i didn't mention Karolina Kurkova at all, there is no need for me to compare her to Isabeli. i'm not sure why you felt the need to bring her up, Francy. FRANCY ITALY Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 yes i see your poing, it's clear that a models can't be liked by anyone.. that would be strange i respect the fact that you find her boring. thanks god all the bookers don't think the same! she is everywhere.. i only have this feeling you hate isabeli because she said the truth on your kk. i'm sure if someone attacked kk, you'll do the same of me and Matute anyway. what is more, now isabeli is not only a model that i admire, but after that i met her, i can totally say she is the most nice model and so sweet (with raquel).. i don't find her boring, i think she can do everything in fact the most famous quote on isabeli is that she can jump from high fashion to commercial without any problem.. and i see that you love so much this damn VS and all your life is about it, so i told you this thing about Isabeli, that proves also you are not a very informed person about VS that you like so much. Isabeli is in the history of VS as the youngest model ever chosen by them. read it on some biography and i think anyone knows it i don't want to spend too much time in this, but Isabeli has a lot of personality and is very adorable and funny (from my personal experience also)... anyway not the quantity of people that knows her matters, but the quality. and as long as miuccia prada, donatella versace, mario testino are friends of isabeli and know her, it's done for me! you don't get popularity by the mass doing vogue italy, vogue usa and so on.. you only get it if you show your body every day of your life for vs nowadays. and isabeli decided not to leave her career of high fashion to do that for the rest of her life, and she refused to enter in VS. her career is super glorious and plus: what is the point of being famous? does it matter? to go on tabloids for the most stupid things etc? oh please i prefer to be un-known until the death no? popularity doens't mean gorgeousness of prefessionalism.. anyway you are quite because i don't arrive in KK thread and tell she is something indecent to see for me.. i keep for myself.. there are already isabeli and izabel that talk for me Quote

She doesn't seem so since US isn't that model crazy. Let's face it ... does even 25% of the population know the VS Angels. probably not. And them knowing Supermodels is even less a chance. Isabeli is huge in Europe/ Brazil / etc. as I said ... Francy and Matute already explained all of this very well ... I just had to add my 5 cents Quote

But that's just thanks to VS, before VS no one besides the people in the fashion world knew who was Kk! ... All the girls who are/were angels are so much more famous than the regular HF models ... Is like bein' in the cover of SI ... If you're in VS, you're name is goin' to be bigger ... But that's it! Happycanadian you need to accept that, Kk is famous thanks to VS ... like all the Angels! I mean i love Adriana Lima but im cool w/that, without VS she probably were just a regular model ... You can't deny that the VS factor helped A LOT Kk's career >.< Is Isabeli a better model? Yes, in my opinion she is ... Since when we don't see Kk doin' something besides VS? a while, while, whiiiiiiiile ago! ... She doesn't even have an editorial since when?! ... On the other hand Isabeli is everywhere! She's an amazing model, designers love her ... so you can't say that she's not a good model! & does Isabeli look boring in the runway? ... Yes, she does .... But Kk loos boring in the runway too..! All the models look boring in the runway IMO, they just can be funny @ the VSFS, b/c any designer wants the attention on the model, they want the attention on the clothes ... So you will never see a model doin' something special in a runway at least that she is the star of the show or something like that >.< ... But like i said, all the models look incredible boring in the runway >.< ... They barely smile sometimes >.< Isabeli didn't said nothing bad about Kk ... Come on even i was shock w/the pictures of Kk in Brazil, i just don't get how in the hell she did that ... She wasn't fat for a normal girl ... but she wasn't in the shape that a model has to be for a runway show, specialy if she's goin' to model bikinis >.< ...
