Eric's view is that Epstein based on his 1 meeting with him as a Hedge fund manager was that he not a real currency trader- just pretending to be one. He believes that he was some sort of fake personality created by the gov't intelligence services.

Listened to the entire 2 hr interview with his friend Bannon.

The interview took place in Bannon's house and Bannon fails to control Epstein in the interview.

In the first hour + it degenerates into a useless discussion of the 2008 financial crisis and maybe only 10 minutes of the exchange is interesting- Trilateral group, Epstein's view on Finance, his experience of being in Jail in 2008.

Epstein says almost nothing that a financially literate businessperson alive at the time and reading the WSJ would not know. Nothing he said suggests deep domain knowledge.

This leads credence to Eric Weinstein's view that Epstein was pretending to be a Soros- like Currency trader. Or Epstein was trying to obstruct the interview.

The rest of the interview has Epstein speak in circles about science, 'complexity theory' and Epstein's donations to research in that domain. Nothing about his lifestyle or crimes. Bannon failed to control the interview here as well.
