Clauds Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I saw the complete first season, not as awesome as SATC (but I wasn't expecting it to be) but still a good show. I love how AnnaSophia plays Carrie and I love Austin as Sebastian Kydd.I do think the show needs to change some things If it comes back for a second season, we need to get less of some characters like Mouse, Tom & specially Maggie who I think it's very annoying character I hope that after what she did to Carrie in the season finale the writers find the perfect excuse to kick her out of Carrie's life, she is very annoying. I also would love to see more of Carrie & Walt as I think they have great chemistry and If the show comes back I seriously hope we get to see some of Carrie's times in NYC during the summer. But my biggest thing is the wardrobe! We all know & love Carrie for her amazing sense of style and this show is supposed to be in the 80's and i find the outfits to be just 'meh' and not too 80's-ish, this is the decade we all know to have been THE craziest times in fashion terms so I think they need to work a lot more on that and give Carrie & Co some amazing outfits that are truth to their decadeOverall It's an okay show, I think it has a lot of potential and I sure hope it gets renewed. m-ouse Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I've watched the first season, just bcs I loved SATC and I was very curious to see what they've created for the ''prequel'' life of Carrie. Not that bad, but not that good either.0 I think some of the costumes they've used weren't really 80s style, and some of the chat the girls had were quite too early, in my opinion. I can't believe sixsteen years old girls knows so much about AIDS and gay ''world'' in 1984 so well.... But maybe I am totally wrong and they were smartest than Italian girls AnnaSophina is really pretty and they couldn't choose a better young actress to play a young Carrie. Now I am waiting for the second season, let's see what's they'll end up with... I grow up in the 80s, but I was a little girl, so I couldn't get dress or use make-up at the time, and I am quite happy the look of the 80s is back so I can do it now Quote
Clauds Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 ^ They just did auditions for Samantha. I'm super excited for that, I can't wait for them to announce who got the part and I hope it's someone who makes Kim's role justice because she is after Carrie my other favorite character Quote
gustavsson Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I just started watching the show a week ago and now I'm addicted, I love the show so much and wish a lot of seasons for the coming years. The cast is great I have fallen in love with every characterin every way. AnnaSophia makes a really good Carrie. Love everyone even Donna She's great. Can't wait for the show to continue it's success Quote
tiika Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I really love this show, the first and second seasons were really good, and I hope they do a third one!!! So sad she lost her oportunity in enterview, but sure she will have a better one! and to get her university grade! .... Sad that Sebastian is gone D: but I don't know if it would be good if he come back for the third... I mean, it would be so repetitive. figers crossed for the next season! Quote
Clauds Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I hope they get a third season too, I love this show. This and The Originals are my fall obsessions. I don't think Sebastian would be back tho, I adore him and Carrie together but I think that's done and the last thing Carrie said about him makes me think they are done for good. Time to get her a new love interest or maybe W will get another chance with her, I'm excited that now Carrie is finally 18 and living in NYC with Samantha so it means it will start getting more SACT-ish Also graduation means that Maggie & Mouse will be GONE! So yes for that, useless characters IMO, time to introduce us to Charlotte or Miranda or even better, both. Quote
tiika Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I agree with you, MissLima, I really hope there's a new love interest for Carrie in NY, and new characters -now she's living in the city and her friends are gone (please, I don't want to know how Mouse devours books in Harvard and about Maggie's newlywed life e.e!). Crossing fingers for the 3rd season!! Quote
