Hopefully she's going to Paris as well to walk more shows and create more opportunities to book A-list campaigns.

There are so many shows recently, and she didn't walk for any shows.she need walk more to remind people she still looks good and it's a good choice for campaign

I also don't understand why she is not doing more shows. Possibly not enough interest from clients. She is also no longer one of the most wanted models and she no longer uses social media (Instagram), which has been important in the last 10 years because clients want media exposure. Models who walk shows for brands have the best chance of booking campaigns/covers. It is important to show that brands are still interested in you, which makes you more desirable as a model. However, her agency probably thinks that this doesn't matter or that she doesn't need to do that. The problem is, she simply isn't booking any big campaigns and international magazine covers. I can already predict that she won't book a Fendi campaign, or at least the chance is very small. Especially if Meisel photographs the campaign, as they haven't worked together in 12 years and he is now in his 70s, so I don't think they will ever work together again. Meisel always focuses on his favorite models.

Doutzen is an 'old model'/aging model, even age 34 is too old and she's 40.

Age has become less important in recent 15 years. Models no longer need to retire at 30. Look at Natasha Poly, Irina Shayk, Lara Stone, Carolyn Murphy, Linda Evangelista, Karen Elson and so on. Even before her sabbatical at age 36, she booked many magazine covers and big campaigns for clothes, shoes, jewelry, cosmetica and so on. It's just a shame that she hasn't returned yet to the same level as before her sabbatical. She deserves a second chance.

Some contacts, such as those with photographers Inez & Vinoodh, unfortunately have not (yet) been restored.

But I still have hope that with good help from her agency she can return to the top and get important magazine covers/campaigns. If she had walked more shows this season, she would have had a better chance of getting higher quality work. Unfortunately, just one big show for Fendi will not make a difference.

It doesn't make sense,Mariacarla is 44now,but she still can got lots of campaign and covers. That's because she walk as many shows as possible. She always remind people she is still a perfect choice for covers or campaign

Age counts and will always count, obviously in recent years this has stopped having a greater weight and clients have been more flexible with models.

The problem with Doutzen is that I think she herself doesn't want to work as much anymore or the second option is that clients don't want to work with her because of everything she said. Instagram would certainly help a lot, since it has millions of followers.

She hasn't been working as much lately, I think it's ok for her to do 5 shows per season, I just wanted her to go back to how she was before the pandemic.

She said in an interview with Dutch Vogue Sept. 2024 that she is open to it again.

But I don't think she is willing to put in the effort herself. She doesn't attend any parties even though it is quite important for models. She does not want any contact with clients...her agent does all the work now. And she no longer uses Instagram, even though models with many followers posting work on Instagram are important for clients to receive extra attention. She is quite invincible now.

She should start using Instagram again, walk more shows and go to a big party/events. PFW was perfect for that. Perfect to network with important people. But she skipped it. I hope she soon gets a major international magazine cover and agrees to promote it on her Instagram. That would be a good reason for her to come back on Instagram.

Her facial expression looks weird here... She looks like she has seen a ghost.

But I am glad that she did one more show + for a brand she has never worked for before!

Moncler added to her show list.

The show is very impressive! Amazing location! But she did not make a good impression on me at all.

She looks so old here....

Aging has also affected her beauty, her lips are getting thinner, eyelids slightly drooping, cheeks losing volume and so many wrinkles right now. If I saw her walking down the street like this, I wouldn't turn around and think wow, she's flawless. I wish she had taken better care of her skin like Candice, Carolyn Murphy, Alessandra, and Adriana.

Better quality.

She looks the same!!! If Carolyn, Candice, Alessandra and Adriana stand next to Doutzen without any make-up, they will all look much worse! She is aging perfectly and looks flawless!
