@Beehive2, I'm totally with you, and my joke about "Bad Blood" aside. Lily went for it, and she killed. The more shots I see, the more I love the look. It is different, yes, but she looks fabulous. I love the blusher she's wearing as well; subtle color add there that again, goes with the theme of the night. And, again, THOSE BOOTS!!! Thanks @Ardilla and @Sannifor the recent adds.

^ You’re welcome!

As Perfectly validated by Vogue.

It's fine that others are praising their favourites even though they did not follow the theme but to criticize this look for this particular event just by playing favourites is a no.

You're awesome @Beehive2. Every time I come back to these shots--and yes, I've been back several times--I love both her looks more and more.

I like her look more now than I initially did, but it's still my least favorite Met Gala look of hers. I read an article with Bryce (her hair stylist) who said the veil on her face was a last minute decision and IMO, it feels that way. He said they had other colors and went with the pink, which is my issue. Had she gone with another color that didn't clash so much with the boots, I think I would like the overall look more. But that's just my personal preference. :flower:

The issue I had was not about details and color of the veil rather than other playing favourites and commenting on the others who looked great without following the theme and acknowledging it and that is fine but I wont take that when you do that and put Lil down.

Not trying to sound sour but I feel a need to validate her team and her effort to the theme.

I applaud her team for making her standout with the material they had and hopefully see her going with a more prestigious house next year.

Anyone knows what's next for her?

I get that and I agree with you. Even if it's not my favorite Met look of hers and I thought others (in general, not just models) did a better job interpreting the theme, I still give her credit for going with that versus something safe. The dress itself was gorgeous and I loved the boots with her after party look, but all of the elements together didn't seem cohesive to me. That was all. I'm curious to see who dresses her next year too. She's now been dressed twice by Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors, once by Carolina Herrera and once by Tommy Hilfiger. I don't know who dressed her in 2010, but either way it's mostly American designers which I find interesting.

As far as her upcoming work, she shot with VS for two days (commercial included I believe), she shot for some magazine in Madrid in Carolina Herrera and the whole Solid & Striped thing. It's campaign season and I assume she'll book CH again.

The group for Solid & Striped looked like it could be interesting, and the few bts preview shots for the most recent VS shoot looked promising. And thanks @Sanni for the Met adds. The last one is pretty hilarious.
