Since that time, WWO has established humanitarian programs in Haiti, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Serbia and Vietnam. Two of its major programs are HIV/AIDS treatment programs for orphans in Vietnam and Ethiopia. Other programs include physical/occupational therapy, early intervention, education, global arts and humanities, sports and recreational camps.Now in its sixth year, the WWO Annual Benefit Gala raises thousands of dollars to benefit Dr. Aronson's work. CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper will be honored and supermodel Heidi Klum and Grammy Award-winning singer Seal will co-host the evening gala, which will feature a special half-hour musical performance by Seal.
