TheBaronOfFratton Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Romeo Beckham signs first commercial fashion deal, aged just eight A new kid on the block is threatening to put Victoria Beckham's fashion designer career in the, er, shades - young son Romeo. At just eight-years-old the lad has signed his first commercial deal - to design sunglasses. Taking a tip from his famous mum's range of trendy dVb sunglasses, Romeo's collection of shades for kids will be called RB. And to showcase the snazzy frames the young entrepreneur has roped in some of his celebrity buddies - including Suri Cruise, Leni (son of Heidi Klum and Seal), and TV chef Gordon Ramsay's brood. Our source reveals: "Romeo has a real eye for fashion. "He has strong opinions on what works and what doesn't, and has been badgering David and Victoria for months about designing his own sunglasses. "It is no passing whim - Victoria said she'd only back the project if he was certain he wanted to do it. "There is a gap in the market for designer kids' shades that are 100% UV protected and trendy. "The glasses are made especially for children and will have a cool 'RB' motif on one arm. The range was originally going to be called Bambino Beckham. "Both Victoria and David are delighted." Romeo, the middle of the three Beckham boys, has always taken pride in his appearance. Even at the weekend when he was playing basketball he looked the part in a Bulldogs vest and matching baggy shorts. The floppy-haired youngster even won Man of the Match.. Attaboy, Romeo! (Source: Daily Mirror, UK) Umm... NO. F**K OFF! Quote
TheBaronOfFratton Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 You know, the more I read this the more annoying I find it... "He has strong opinions on what works and what doesn't, and has been badgering David and Victoria for months about designing his own sunglasses. ^Well, yes - 8-year old do have strong opinions: They have strong opinions about pretty much everything ("Ugh, I'm not eating that." "I HATE going to grandma's." "High School Musical 3 is the best film EVER!"). But they're 8. So, largely, they're wrong!!!Just because you're the offspring of Thick 'n' Thin doesn't make you some designer wunderkid. Quote
NYBella Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 It seems to be the new thing along with all those annoying celebrity scents <_< Madonna's daughter has her own line of clothing too. But to be fair, she is a bit older. You cannot deny that the Beckhams have style, though Quote

TheBaronOfFratton Posted January 7, 2011 Author Posted January 7, 2011 Number 26, in the GQ(UK) 'Annual Best-Dressed List 2011': "The celebrity of the future. He's experimental, quirky, and fun, and his style has nothing mini-me about it. It's me-me!" Fuck off David Walker-Smith, menswear director, Selfridges. I don't know what greasy-pole all involved are attempting to climb - but fuck off! Quote
