LEPRECHAUN (1993)

After years of waiting tables and getting small TV roles, Jen landed her first leading role in this slasher flick about one really ticked off little guy in green. The movie bombed at the theater (though it went on to have five sequels). Aniston was so discouraged that she considered quitting acting altogether. Later, when she did hit it big, "Leprechaun" was re-released on video with Jen prominently featured on the cover.

FRIENDS (1994-2004)

Jen's luck changes when she nabbed the part of Rachel Green on "Friends." Her haircut on the show turned heads, and soon half the women in the country are sporting "The Rachel." "Friends" ran for ten seasons, becoming one of the most successful shows of all time. She won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her work, and during the final seasons of the series, Aniston was pulling down one million dollars per episode.

SHE'S THE ONE (1996)

Jen ventured back onto the silver screen with this indie ensemble movie, directed by Ed Burns. Aniston received positive critical attention and she went on to appear in a string of other low-key, low-budget rom-coms like "Picture Perfect" and "The Object of My Affection."

Though this movie was a box office dud, it soon became an oft-quoted cult hit. And thanks to her stellar comic performance, you'll never look at suspender-sporting, button-bedecked waitresses without thinking "pieces of flair" again.

BRUCE ALMIGHTY (2003)

Though Aniston played the second banana to an all-powerful Jim Carrey in this comedy, "Bruce Almighty" did net her her biggest box-office total to date.

ALONG CAME POLLY (2004)

BOX OFFICE: $88,097,164

Jen played the free-spirited object of Ben Stiller's affection in this screwball comedy featuring ferrets, clogged toilets, and a bad case of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Though the critics hated this flick, it grossed twice its budget. Gross being the operative word.

RUMOR HAS IT... (2005)

BOX OFFICE: $43,000,262

Aniston's previous big budget ventures always paired her with proven box-office draws. But this film -- about a woman who learns that her family was the inspiration for the movie "The Graduate" -- rested primarily on Jen's shoulders. And the film tanked. Critics complained that the film was sentimental and dull. Audiences heeded the warning and largely stayed away.

THE BREAK-UP (2006)

BOX OFFICE: $118,703,275

Aniston's off-screen personal life almost overwhelmed this flick. Not only was she dumped by Pitt for Angelina Jolie just prior to shooting this movie, but she was also reportedly dating her costar Vince Vaughn. In spite of (or maybe because of) the tabloid treatment, "The Break-Up" did well financially in a crowded summer movie season.

MARLEY & ME (2008)

After almost a year-and-a-half hiatus, Jennifer Aniston made a triumphant return to the public eye. She had paparazzi hounding her again when she dated John Mayer, she finally went on record about the end of her marriage, and she appeared on countless magazine covers (in one case wearing nothing but a necktie). But the attention paid off when "Marley & Me" dominated the box office over the Christmas holiday.

HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU (2009)

BOX OFFICE: $27,785,487 (and counting)

Jen's career revitalization seems complete with her star-studded romantic comedy "He's Just Not That Into You" topping the box office charts this past week. Next up for her is the drama "Traveling," costarring Aaron Eckhart. Plus, she's producing movies and has stated she'd like to try to direct in the future. It looks like Jennifer will sail into her fourth decade with style, grace, and, yes, flair.
