Iran starting firing missiles at US troops (Qatar)

Early reports are that it's all theatrical as Iran gave Qatar warning and they told the US as the base was already evacuated.

Israel is directly supported by the US from a supply, intelligence, and recon standpoint- this means all are now considered legitimate targets by Iran.

I don't think that it is in Iran's best interest to drag the US into this war further than the current situation.

But certainly in the interests of Russia & China they could see Iran as their proxy to further weaken the United States.
