The radical left strikes again. :(

Ethical purchasing in our society is nearly impossible unless you live in a commune and are off the grid. :chicken:

The far left doesn't "strike", they just occupy entire parts of the social media territory. They threaten, they call to order...

"Ethical purchasing": does it mean that people choose their brands based on the political ideas of the CEOs? Pretty pointless and arbitrary. Not really ethical.

Ethics seems to mean "not talking to someone we disagree with" nowadays: that's pretty unethical IMHO :ermm:

Threatening people and possibly costing them their livelihood over politics/social justice is just fucking insane. :chicken:

Yes, I agree. Social justice warriors are in fact social injustice warriors.

Why do you ask?

@Stromboli1  1994 USA World Cup was the worst one IMHO... The final (Brazil-Italy) was boring: 0-0, then extra time and again 0-0... And finally the penalties.

It could have been a great match: Italy had won 3 World cups and same for Brazil. So, it was a challenge to determine who would be the best team. Baggio was a great player, he did a pretty good match (even if he was sick), but unfortunately he missed his kick.

(Italy should've won; they were better on the field)

Yes, but both sides of the political realm do it, but the far left more so now. :chicken:

For a point and example..... just asking for the brand. :chicken:

Sure, both sides. But as you say, we can only hear the far left at the moment; and they can be really annoying, because they don't discuss, they just claim to have the moral high ground.

You're right Italy should've won, but PKs are a crap shoot. :chicken:

2006 made up for it though. :chicken:

Samsung, Microsoft, and Apple are tied to and have used slave labor to make their products. :chicken:

SJWs lambasted the CEO of Twitter eating at Chick Fil A because CFA doesn't support LBGTQ rights and have funded some things politically against it too. :chicken:

Those SJWs didn't realize the phones they used to check twitter and to lambaste the CEO that they support slave labor by purchasing Samsung, Microsoft, and Apple products.

Ethical purchasing is inescapable in today's society. :chicken:

Oh, don't talk about 2006... France-Italy. France should have won this one. (I'm more French than Italian, so I'm generally on France's side, but I really like the Italian football team as well). I remember I saw this match with my ex girlfriend; we were on the road on holidays, and I kept looking for a place with a giant TV to watch the match (we were in Brittany and there was only small towns around us). We found a crappy TV on the place of a village. Really intense match! I thought that France was gonna win. I was shouting loudly at every kick at the end of the match...

Spoiler

Oh, and Materazzi was a jerk who deserved to be kicked

1998 quarter-finals: France-Italy and penalties there as well! (and it was a really good match as well)

@Enrico_sw I almost asked you a question in the post above, but decided against it because it was unbecoming. :chicken:

Oh, please do ask! I rarely get offended when I discuss or exchange arguments.

Yeah, Italy should've won this one, but Trezeguet's goal was awesome.

Okay..... Do you support slave labor because you have a Samsung phone?

Arguments that are started over purchasing ethics are so dumb and a waste of time. :chicken:

All that dude wanted to do was get some chicken, but his mistake was posting about it on the twitter machine. :chicken:

That's not unbecoming. And it's impossible for you to offend me on this one, because you know I share your point of view

Anyway, I get your point.

What I find frightening is when we get told which fight to pick. If I keep on with your point, "choices" are made in these SJW crusades. Because most of the time we are not the ones who have the information (we are not investigative journalists), people make the choices for us. If these "people" are journalists, they can channel the SJW energy to their political beliefs (voluntarily or not, it can be subconscious). But far worse: if a lobbyist force channels the SJW energy, they can just manipulate people.

It's like wars. It's funny how wars are "sold" based on "ethical" arguments since the 1900s, but, without being a geopolitical expert of any sort, it's fairly easy to see that the correlation between wars and ethics is not that high

What's so great about the far right?
