EDIT2: The good news is that Duck and Nick Chubb both came back after similar injuries. Yes, I’m aware every injury’s different, but it seems it doesn’t necessarily mean your career’s over.

Never quite understood why David Goggins got so big a few years back. His content still pops up from time to time on the algorithm.

He is unimpressive in his communication style, curses a lot, inarticulate and constantly boasts about his "toughness" like someone who grew up in the hood..

He always comes across as promoting extremist approach to physical/psychological pain to the point of being a self-destructive/masochist philosophy.

While he is an elite marathon athlete he also has severe injuries that require multiple surgeries and at this point he might be invalid by the time he's an old man. Yet he is seen as a role model?! If he accomplished and created a great life then he would have something to teach others.
