AI might reshape how academic fields operate, but it won’t make them obsolete, not even close. In fact, fields like ethics, education, psychology and philosophy are now more important than ever because of AI. If anything it broadens the scope of those fields, not erases them. Remember that AI doesn’t generate new knowledge or think/reason like humans. It predicts patterns based on existing data, that’s it.

It is absurd that higher education is run like a for-profit maximizing business. I think that's the main problem, the content is secondary.Agreed. It’s crazy to think that people can’t educate themselves simply because they can’t afford it. Every single person should have the opportunity to pursue an academic/professional path.
Friday at 11:56 PM1 day I mean...that’s just reality. MAGAs need to understand that Europe despises Donald. At least they didn't use the r-word.
Yesterday at 01:34 AM1 day @Stromboli1 Do Republican voters have a secret club card that gets them gas at $1.99? Because according to AAA/GasBuddy, no station is even close to that price (lowest pumps in TX were around $2.30)Also..Donald has been repeating that same line for months now, but inflation is actually going up again? https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/inflation-cpihttps://www.usinflationcalculator.com/inflation/current-inflation-rates/

16 hours ago16 hr Happy Gilmore 2 is a cameo fest, that being said I had fun with it. I'd give it 6/10 or 6.5/10 if I was generous.

I'd love $.89/gallon gas like when I grew up.Inflation has been a mixed bag so far as some goods and services have gone down in price while others have stayed the same or have gone up.Then there's the predatory price gouging going on by the big box stores. The housing market and energy costs sans gasoline has not seen any relief yet. I know those things take longer to remedy.I'd give a C+ grade for Inflation so far, some good and some bad, but still needs improvement.

Inflation’s always around in some form, what matters most is whether people (read: government) can keep up with the changes (wages, housing, policies, etc). My issue is that why lie about it? If you Google USA inflation, you'll find out the truth.
15 hours ago15 hr Also, stop complaining about the gas prices, it could be a lot worse. https://money.usnews.com/money/personal-finance/spending/articles/a-look-at-gas-prices-around-the-worldGlobal Petrol Prices reported that the 20 countries with the most expensive gas as of May 26, 2025, are:Germany: $7.181France: $7.189Monaco: $7.196Mayotte: $7.242Portugal: $7.257Ireland: $7.279Finland: $7.302Italy: $7.348Barbados: $7.409Greece: $7.476Norway: $7.578Albania: $7.597Israel: $7.836Switzerland: $7.840Singapore: $7.983Liechtenstein: $8.021Netherlands: $8.135Denmark: $8.298Iceland: $9.146Hong Kong: $13.014
