It's funny how the MAGA trolls work. D

Jackson Hinkle comes across an information operation (no way he acts alone; I saw his twitter account explode unnaturally after he got banned from youtube).

Not sure of the motive but certainly if he may be a way for MAGA to get support from far-left (with maga communism)

Summary of the Threat to the United States

The ongoing Iran conflict is causing a heightened threat environment in the United States. Low-level cyber attacks against US networks by pro-Iranian hacktivists are likely, and cyber actors affiliated with the Iranian government may conduct attacks against US networks. Iran also has a long-standing commitment to target US Government officials it views as responsible for the death of an Iranian military commander killed in January 2020. The likelihood of violent extremists in the Homeland independently mobilizing to violence in response to the conflict would likely increase if Iranian leadership issued a religious ruling calling for retaliatory violence against targets in the Homeland. Multiple recent Homeland terrorist attacks have been motivated by anti-Semitic or anti-Israel sentiment, and the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict could contribute to US-based individuals plotting additional attacks.

@Cult Icon Feeling safe?

I'm not a fan of us getting involved with Iran, we have too many issues here. I know Trump has been clear for years that Iran can't have a nuclear bomb. As long as there are minimal repercussions (no American lives lost, boots on the ground, regime change, etc) Maga will not turn on Trump. It's still too early to tell the full fallout for the bombing and the big question.... WHAT NOW?. Hopefully all parties come to the table and talk, but that's a big ask right now.

One thing is for certain, as the Boomers die off the support for Israel will die with them.

MIGA

I'm curious how the markets would respond if Iran follows through with its threat to close the Strait of Hormuz.

@Cult Icon Did you read these already (thread)? Medvedev’s opened another bottle of vodka again?

There seems to be widespread doubts about the Trump regime's (lol) boasting claims of a 'staggering success' and dubious claims that they are 'winning'. The strike may have done far less damage than they claim.

The Iranians have an embarrassingly weak air force. In exchange for helping Russia with drone factories and drone deliveries (and millions of rounds of artillery ammunition), Russia promised to deliver them SU-35 aircraft. They seem to have invested more on patrol boats (equipped with drones and missile launchers) and overall have been really interested in drones, missiles, and AA systems and underground storage facilities for years. They have been anticipating Western/Israeli aggression for a very long time.

Their drone arsenal looks similar to the US and China's and before 2022 was better than Russia's. (the Russians to their extreme detriment neglected drone tech and focused more on other arms pre-2022).

Their missile and AA systems look like they are influenced by older Russian equipment (S-300, Buk etc) as they have purchased/traded such gear with the Russians.

China also sold them considerable materials to produce missiles before this conflict and is likely to continue trading with them just like they have with Russia.
